It'd be a mistake to leave Cold Spring without stopping here.

The owner, Bobby, is a stellar human being. He had just closed up his tasting window, but re-opened for a few minutes to let us taste his INCREDIBLE homemade fudge. Despite coming from a huge lunch, we stuffed our faces with all 5 flavors. (The peanut butter / chocolate one is unreal).

The fudge would have been enough, but really the best part was meeting Bobby. He was so appreciative of us coming to Cold Spring and so genuinely interested in our own backgrounds. We somehow got on the subject of music, and Bobby invited us to see his vintage guitar shop (which is amazingly part of the same store). His collection is incredible, and any guitar fan -- novice or expert -- will love seeing it.

Bobby's a lovely guy, living his best life, and the type of local businessperson you just love to support. We'll be coming...

The best fudge I've ever had (sorry mom) and at a great price! I didn't have an addiction problem until I visited this store. I saw the sign for free fudge sampling and kind of laughed it off because I'm not really into sweets that much, but the sign for the old vintage guitars caught my attention so I decided to walk in. The owner was a very friendly veteran of the United States Marine Corps (Semper Fi) and insisted that we sample his fudge. The fudge is homemade without any of the preservatives you find in mass produced items and for some of the fudges they use honey and simple syrups instead of sugar. I found the fudge to be full of its intended flavors and not too sweet for my liking. The price is no different than what you would pay for a smoothie across the street or a piece of pie from a café. We are avid hikers who had visited Bobby several times and picked up fudge for ourselves and our friends. When we got engaged we knew we wanted our party to be in the Hudson Valley and thought maybe we can pick up some of this wonderful fudge for our guests as party favors.

Bobby went above and beyond! We contacted him about two weeks before the event to ask him for about 35 pieces of fudge and he offered to make a custom sparkly pink fudge for us to match the theme of our party! He made it with vanilla cranberry and walnut flavors and it turned out absolutely gorgeous. Our family and friends were totally impressed! He also gave us a great discount because of how many pieces we bought.
