Pittsford Plaza — Attraction in Town of Pittsford

Pittsford Plaza has several key businesses that make a stop here worth your time and effort. The first business I found to be to my advantage is the UPS Store. They will take anything Amazon has approved for return and give you a receipt for the transaction. My experience on several returns is that Amazon sends an email acknowledging your return and specifying the amount of the refund they have already posted to your account. I am originally from Denver. A few years ago Trader Joe’s built a store three blocks from my apartment. I had never been in a Trader Joe’s before but it wasn’t long before I was shopping there almost daily. It took me a few visits to begin to find my way around the store. The stores I have seen are not the size of a giant super market but they’ve always had enough to make it worth my while to shop there. The specialties I particularly appreciate are the wonderful and economically priced cheeses, the frozen foods, flowers, and the skin and hair products. Almost everything is a Trader Joe’s labeled product. They also provide superior service: I have never waited in line to check out! There’s two other of my favorites that I always do business with because they sell superior products at a reasonable price: Chipotle and Sport Clips. Pittsford Plaza gets five stars from me and I didn’t even mention the Barnes & Noble, the coffee bean store, or the wonderful Mexican restaurant, Adelita’s...

Lots of shopping options all in one place, and I love the cinema here with the comfy recliners and real butter on the popcorn. But the plaza itself is difficult to navigate by car, and a nightmare for the cyclist. That's if you brave this section of Monroe Ave to get there. Once you do, beware, many of the folks who frequent these stores are rude, abrupt, and unpleasant. The workers at the shops are usually friendly and helpful-- the few I've engaged with, but this place is almost always busy and so even at the stores with the most well-trained customer service oriented employees, you can take a bit of time to get some help. I generally avoid this whole plaza whenever I can, and only go for Trader Joe's or the Pittsford Cinema-- and usually I borrow a car, because as I said, this is one of the few places in all of Monroe County where I feel distinctly...

Don't waste your time or money going here. Had a horrible experience. Had a 5:30 reservation, checked in early. Host said would text when ready...should only be 5 minutes. 25 minutes later I ask if table is ready...host says yes..go on in. We go to hostess she takes us to table..it is filthy. She asks us to wait...10 more minutes table finally ready. Our waiter took drink order. Brought them out then 20 minutes later takes our food order. Much time has passed to finally get food. 2 orders were fine. One was dried out from sitting under lights so long. The last was burnt to crisp. Waiter never checked in with us. Didn't offer discount for ruined meals. Very disappointing! ...
