Went in this store to purchase a “Home Basket” that was displayed in the window. When I asked the staff they told me they had none available. I told them I would like to purchase the one they had in the display. Another employee spoke up and stated she purchased that on. I moved on and bought a rug. Then I found another one holding there pens and I told her that I would like to purchase that one. They stated it is not for sale, it is there to hold there pens. Then another employee spoke up and stated the there was a chip in it. I examined the the basket and found no chip. I also told them i didn’t mind it had a chip and would like to purchase anyway. The staff got rude with me and refused to sell to me. Would not recommend this store. REBUTTAL TO YOUR RESPONSE: I am in the customer service business and I do have employees during this epidemic. If my staff treated a customer the way I was treated I would have them dismissed. I would not cut them slack for being rude to the very people that make my business survive. It is obvious to me that maybe you were one of the staff. You or your staff are terrible at customer service and we will not be visiting your store anymore. I’ve never seen staff quite as rude as one of the ladies here. Imagine getting the cops called on you because you had leftover food in a bag and your face mask isn’t covering your nose. Then when she walked out the staff laughed and said “I didn’t actually call the cops” then continue to explain it’s the law. That’s not even the whole story when my face mask slipped down my face she nearly had a heart attack chasing me down in the store to tell me (very very rudely) to put my mask on as if it were life or death. I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. My husband and I were up there over the weekend for my birthday. We had picked out a few things to buy as we got closer to the front the older lady behind the counter snapped at me about my coffee.. I told her I was actually finished with it and if she had a garbage I could toss it out. She rudely grabbed it from my hand saying she would throw it away outside for me and went storming towards the front door.. I was so shocked how rude she was, we put our stuff down and walked out......
