What a disservice. Unprofessional. I “specifically” explained and showed 4 pictures. Three of those photos were of ME —my hair. I wanted the same cut again. She clearly didn’t listen, didn’t care, can’t see or isn’t properly trained. My hair was long -almost all one length so she had a blank canvas to work from. Hard to mess up. There was no attention to detail. No precision. I don’t think she was “into” cutting the hair. And it showed. I have great hair; I get compliments on it often (all my life), even from stylists. Furthermore, I didn’t even get a blowout or stylie scrunching. Totally lame. I was looking forward to a nice blowout. There’s more; she was going to let me walk out with my hair mostly wet until I asked her if she could dry it a up a bit under my nape because my neck was cold. Moreover I wasn’t offered the mirror (that was resting on the counter), to hold up so I could see the back. Maybe, because she didn’t want me to see it; she knew she did a poor job?? She seemed rushed towards the end. I don’t like to feel rushed especially when I make effort to drive over there and show up on time. When I got to my car I had hair pocking me behind my neck & nape. I took my pullover off and brush it off. I didn’t think that was a big deal. But when I got home I had more hair poking me under my shirt around my torso and waist. Whatever happened to brushing the back of the clients neck/nape B4 you let them walk out the door or running the blower over the top half of the body? ESPECIALLY when you cut a full head of long-thick hair off. Poor work ethic. She probably didn’t put the cape on carefully. An adolescent could’ve done a better job. Honestly. How is it that haircutters like this become “stylist trainers?” It must based on personality & popularity. I waited months to get a haircut because I didn’t just want to go just anywhere. Thought I’d give this salon a try since they had a fabulous online presence. She actually didn’t deserve the tip I left. I was generous. Too bad for me. I have to wait for it to grow out again. You all made $ and I came home disappointed. Bummed out to say the least. She’s a very sweet lady, lovely personality. But I went in for a quality restyle/cut. . . exactly what I showed AND explained. A professional relaxed experience as their website indicates. I would’ve settled for ‘close enough.’ I got an old lady wedge. Nothing like the picture of ME I showed. Ither she was poorly trained, didn’t care, had her head somewhere else or she and/or the salon has low standards. I really couldn’t tell ya. But I will not be returning and share my experience...
Read moreI really don't like doing this. Especially since this salon has such good reviews, but if I'm being honest I'm certainly unhappy with my hair trim. It's the most basic ask to trim my ends and I had just gotten my hair trimmed 4 months prior. After discussing with Kristina how much she would need to cut off she said she would cut 1 inch off. I get home and my husband measures my hair like he does every month so that I can track my hair growth and she cut off 2.25 inches! I also wouldn't post this review if I wasn't sure, but he measures from the same spot every month being the start of my hairline, which hasn't moved and pulling the strands straight like he does every time and it's for sure 2.25 inches shorter. Setting me back yet again on growing my hair out. I've basically given up on hair salons, which is very unfortunate but somehow even a basic ask ends up messed up somehow. The salon itself is comfortable, the smell is nice, and the staff are nice, but I'm still very disappointed especially for the cost and my appointment started about 12 minutes late, which normally wouldn't be a big deal, but I needed to get home to feed my baby. Again just pretty upset to be set back even further on my hair grow with...
Read moreI went to Sarah and she did AMAZING! Long story short, I wanted my natural hair cut to clean up some outgrown blonde ends AND had brought in some clip in extensions that I wanted blended into my hair (as well as getting bangs!) She KILLED IT! You can definitely tell she has 17 years of experience. First off, she did a phenomenal job! I left feeling like a princess with a brand new look! Secondly, she very clearly had the knowledge and skill set to achieve what I wanted. She started by telling me that I didn’t need to cut nearly as much hair off as I thought because it was healthier than I realized and instead suggested doing a gloss and tone to help everything blend with the extensions. Next she did my bangs, which I was terrified for because I’ve had them botched in the past by other stylists! She listened to everything I had to say about what I wanted and did just that! Perfect haircut with or without extensions! I left very happy and she also recommend some wonderful products (specific to my hair needs) to try! Will definitely go back! Plus the salon is so cute and everyone was very nice, friendly, and helpful!...
