C-A-L Ranch Stores — Attraction in Vernal

One of the most underrated stores in Vernal. I called in to browse the stores Sporting Goods section as I do occasionally, and walked out with a new firearm that was priced far lower than the local competitors. Throughout the whole purchasing process, staff were more than friendly and made the whole experience pleasurable and personal which is something that lacks in most other local stores. From the moment you walk in, during the time in the store, till the time that you leave, there is no pressure and it makes the whole shopping experience relaxing. We full time RV and just like to stop in various places. We had a couple things in mind to look for. Then we found the sales racks, and 3 jackets. One did not have a tag. LaRetta took the time to help look up the item, when it wasn't found decided on a fair price. We purchased that jacket (was cheaper, and more what i wanted than the other 2). Also, we happened to cross a diff employee outside when walking in and asked the propane refill prices, she not only knew and answered happily, but told us it was half off that day only, July 3. Great service...

You really have a superstar in Riley. Efficient, and knowledgeable. I watch her read the customers perfectly. All business, playful, kind, quiet and even chatty. But each customer meets the exact service they desire. Personally I like a crap giving punchy person. And she delivers. Then, she will turn around and be completely professional to the next in line. This is rare these days, it seems customer service is dead in most businesses. I’m always welcomed and assisted at the Vernal C-A-L-Ranch store. Thank you to all the staff...
