Review of the color copies: ** four stars - as expected - it's standard double-sided color copies stapled at the top left corner and folded in half - nothing outrageously difficult. Review of ODP Business Solutions/Office Depot interface - * one star - poor with certain stores: It seems that the equipment at some Office Depot stores isn't compatible with ODP's order menu, which gives an option to do BOTH the stapling AND the folding AT THE SAME TIME. However, the print counter staff at the Office Depot on Virginia Beach Blvd in Virginia Beach will accept the order and just hand you a box of EITHER stapled OR folded copies with a shrug, saying "Our machine will only staple OR fold - it can't do both." Have I had this done at neighboring Office Depot locations? Yes, several times. Did this store staff call to let me know they could not fulfill the order as requested? No. So - in an effort to save myself some precious time by having them already folded - I've now more than doubled the time that I have to spend on these copies if I have to fold them myself. Customer service review - 1/2* - Not only are they now costing me a ton of time because they couldn't pick up the phone and tell me that they couldn't complete the job, the employee at the counter is outright hostile because I'm upset with my order. The half-star is for this person's supervisor (I think) who at least refunds the money for my incomplete order. And, here I go, to waste more time by sending the order to a store further away from me so that it can be done...
Read moreThis location does not even deserve one star!!! And a MANAGER helped me with an issue, treated me like I was dishonest about trying to return my toner, actually said, "How do I know that you just did not put a different toner in the box" REALLY!!!!! Sorry, I was, What?!?!?! You are accusing me of that?!?!?! I work from home, and have been buying toner from Office Depot for the last 3 years in VA Beach. I know my toner, if there is a alternate (30X is an alternate for my printer), which after purchsing a HP 30 A toner, opened it because my last toner cartridge was empty, and there was a 30X in the box not a 30A!! I had to use what I had, did not have a choice, I work M - F, I can not just leave the house and bring back toner. I know how long the 30A toner lasts and the 30X did not even last half the amount of time that a 30A does. I brought it back when I saw that it was not lasting me the MANAGER at this store DID NOT, and I am expressing, NOT, help me because she said I USED it and I should have brought it back as soon as I saw that it was not the correct one. I had a receipt. I will never go back to this location ever again. And get this......................ANOTHER LOCATION SAID THEY WILL TAKE...
Read moreI normally go to the Military Hwy location, but my order got transferred here, so it was my first time in this store. The store is nice and new-looking but I left with a bad impression because of one person at the printing counter. I had a banner printed, and asked a few questions about the material because it was a lot thinner than I anticipated. Things were fine until I asked if it was possible to get it reprinted it on the thicker material. She started dealing with me as if I was being difficult, when I was actually just asking a question. She interrupted me and kept looking at me like I was stupid. Trust me, I get it, customers can be difficult and don't like store policies, but don't take that out on the ones who are being polite to you and asking genuine questions. The other people there were fine, but this lady had a chip on her shoulder or something. On top of that, my banner had a white edge along the bottom (yes, my image was properly formatted). I'm electing to just cut that off myself so I don't have to go back in there. I haven't dealt with anyone like that at the Military Hwy store- they're always very friendly and...
