Lawrelin Wine Cellars — Attraction in Walla Walla

Why Lawrelin doesn't have more reviews is something I will never understand! Kendall crafts absurdly good Cabs and Syrahs, among a few other things, all of which see extensive time in bottle before release.

Lawrelin offers one of the best values I've ever seen on a bottle of wine, given how long Kendall ages his wines in barrel and bottle. While we generally don't go for the crazy big, powerful reds, the decade to decade-and-a-half (sometimes more) of aging on his bottles adds immense complexities, subtleties, and nuances that are simply not present in the vast majority of Walla Walla wines.

A must visit, and a relatively undiscovered gem...

After a full two days this was hands down our favorite tasting experience in Walla Walla. The wines were phenomenal - the unique story of this winery led to them pouring wines a solid decade older than the other tasting rooms, and it really came through in the glass. Their tasting was a vertical flight of 03, 04, and 05 Syrah followed by the same years of Cab and it was incredible to have the opportunity to do A-B-C comparisons of the three vintages.
