Dupont Little Flea Market — Attraction in Washington

This little flea market is a gem. What a nice find while walking along Dupont. I had heard of Los Gitanos Vintage being there by a friend. I decided to frolic the market this past weekend. Tara P (the owner of Los Gitanos Vintage) did NOT disappoint. She had such an assortment of vintage finds. I wasn’t sure what I wanted, but Tara’s easy vibe allowed me to look through the whole collection. She also gave me amazing feedback about a skirt I was looking at. She knows her sizes & fit. Her impeccable taste comes through in her curation and I am so glad I went. I walked away with a leather faux snake long strap purse, a wide chunky brown belt to layer over sweaters, and a bright blue oversized sweater to freshen up my look. I def will be back to shop the other vendors, and most definitely to see what Los Gitanos finds next. Thanks Tara...

This truly is a little flea market, just a few vendors set up on a sidewalk corner, but what it lacks in quantity, it makes up for in quality! Nice variety in the booths, carrying art and wall decor, other vintage knick-knacks and wares, vinyl records, jewelry, t-shirts, and some artisan crafts. I enjoyed perusing the items and there was even some live jazz playing. Only wish is that it was bigger and that there was more to look at! But the quality definitely rivals other flea markets in the DC area such as the ones at Eastern Market...
