I have been a long and loyal customer to this range for several years , spent thousands on range balls and even got ripped off in their pro shop on equipment... but not anymore . These are the most rude , lazy people In business , and they have no business in the game of golf! If your last bucket is at 11 - close 1130 - why is the guy turning off the lights on me at 11:20 ??? To have me almost fall on my face missing that step out the back exit! I'll tell you why , Just knowing these guys post False close times, I brought 15 of my own balls to try out my swing byte 2 , I wasn't bothering anyone so the guy who I have personally handed thousands of dollars comes over and I tell him I am there with a few of my balls just trying my device out thinking he would be cool ... He cops and attitude , turns the lights off on me , I am Walking out of the place pitchdark I almost fell on my ass... So on the way out I told him what a great business man he was ! Business 101 - take care of your customers ! Or u will lose a client for life . Place is a joke , they show no loyalty to customers and they can't wait to turn off the lights and go home - Told him what a great business man he was in the parking lot ... Go to Essex golf range folks , they have a lot more to offer , and you don't need night vision to see where ur balls go.. It's well lit and constant improvements are being made to...
Read moreI purchased an eighteen hole mini golf session for 2 adults and 1 child. From the moment we opened the door, we were met with such a warm, genuine greeting from Phil! You could tell he is a happy young man enjoying himself at work!
We got about half way through our session, but it got too hot for my 6 year old. He normally does better in the heat, but today he was overheated with water, sunblock and a hat. We had to cut our session short even though we were having fun.
When we came back in fast, Phil quickly inquired why to make sure everything was okay. Before I could finish my sentence he knew from the look of my child what I was saying. As I was telling him we could not wait to come back, without hesitation, Phil gave my family a rain check to come back. It was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated gesture! Customer service is wonderful!
We will definitely be back, and NOT just with the rain check! It is a cute course.🙂
Overall experience was great! I do recommend it for families or even date nights. They also have a driving range if that’s your thing!
Last, but not least- Phil is the perfect “front man” for the job. He is a well rounded mix of happy, high energy and...
Read moreOur group of 7 had a very disappointing experience here. From the start, the manager (wearing Eagles attire) greeted us with a passive-aggressive attitude. He told us we’d need to split into 2 groups or else we couldn’t play—something everyone in our group understood the first time, yet he repeated it in a rude manner. When we went to purchase drinks, we were told they only accepted cash. After paying in cash, they didn’t even have change available, which was very inconvenient. We also asked about borrowing clubs for the range, and instead of answering politely, the manager responded with: “I’m not trying to be a dick.” Unfortunately, that was exactly how he came across the entire time. When called out on his behavior, he openly admitted, “I could admit to acting like a dick at my job so yeah.” This is unacceptable behavior for anyone, especially someone in a management position. Customer service should never make guests feel unwelcome, disrespected, or inconvenienced. This manager not only lacked professionalism but also empathy. If this facility wants to provide a positive experience, I strongly recommend appointing a new manager who understands how to treat customers...
