Not a bad place at all, about what you'd expect. You could more or less pick "Generic Office Store - 1ea" out of the giant catalog of shops, and you'd have the Wenatchee Office Depot. Which, I suppose, is precisely what I want when I go to a big-box office supply store. Don't expect any particular knowledge from the employees outside of where items are in the store, and take their input on products with a large grain of salt. Again, more or less what you would expect from a standard big-box store of any stripe.
They have a decent selection of most everything you'd want, provided you are not excessively picky about brand, etc. They advertise price matching with online sources, but the qualifiers are so stringent that good luck getting them to actually match a price. If you're after tape, a ream of paper, or the other stuff you'd generally expect at an office supply store, this is a good stop! Read moreBad handling of printed materials needed for business. I went in on 8/31 to have 647 post cards printed needed for an upcoming event for my business. They told me that they needed to be mailed from Yakima and would be in by 9/4/20. I called them back after there was no follow up and they told me they would call me back. Still no word from them so I called back today 9/7/20 and told be that they would not be in until September 15th which will not work because our business event starts on the 14th and should be mailed out to our customers by 9/8. Funny that the Kennewick location had the 2263 post cards ready for me within 2 days. That's bad management at the Wenatchee location and have caused my business to lose thousands of dollars in potential revenue. I will never do business with that location again. I hope your corporate office hears about this and someone pays the price for dropping the ball on a business transaction. Shame on you Wenatchee...
Read moreI went into the store to purchase the desk but they were so short staffed that I waited around for a half hour before leaving. I purchased online and picked it up in person. Open the box and the desk is damaged! When I called to resolve the issue every staff member was short with me or so unhelpful that there was just silence on their end of the call. Finally talked to Frank (manager) who offered me not only replacement pieces, but a partial refund for the trouble... Awesome... except when the pieces came some were damaged and some were for a totally different desk! At this point I'm exasperated and I just want my desk. Also, what kind of business doesn't have voicemail for their managers? Every time I call I have to leave a message with a clerk and hope the message gets to the manager with some urgency. If anybody at Office Depot is reading this... PLEASE call me back and get me the desk I paid for. It has been almost two weeks since...
