Friendly staff.... but I didn't get what I asked for! I Visited the salon on Saturday after work thinking I was going to come out the salon feeling content with my hair, the results but it wasn't like that. I had virgin hair. Dark short hair and I asked for a blue color (Last Picture) I got told I would be able to see blue later since my black hair got the blue. I showed picture, I even asked how long was the person doing hair(color) for? I don't usually DYE my hair for this same reason. People always messing it up. I can't even do my hair, because my hands end up being blue!! What type of product do you guys use? I wake up with the left side of my face blue and when I do my hair, hands get that color as well. Hard to get the blue out my hands by the way!!

6 years ago, I got my hair bleached and then I put some color from Sally, I Did not wake up with my face or hands color red. I Paid $460 for something that truly didn't end up being what I asked for!

I thought this place was going to be worth it, since it has 4.8 Stars. I could've done this better...with a product of Sally Beauty. I am Truly disappointed. Thought I found the right place, but I didn't. I regret the visit.. smh

(Bang! Salon on Wicker Park) I really would like...

The salon was friendly and communicative about the extra cost to achieve volume with my fine hair (I requested a blowout, but they changed the service to ‘special occasion’ due to the extra time required) I was fine with this extra charge, but I wish the stylist told me that in order to add volume to my fine hair, that she would have to tease my roots relentlessly (also adding texturizing powder and lots of hair spray) As a result, my hair felt extremely stiff and my entire scalp felt like a huge knot when I pressed on it. It took SO long to brush my hair out after the event, and still feels damaged. My ends felt dry, looked dull, and were easily tangled due to so much product. I’m not an expert with hair styling, so I just wish she would have warned me about the tangles and texture my hair would have in order to get volume. I would have chosen a different style that was more easily achievable with having fine hair. I had to use a brush on my hair throughout the night so it looked presentable and not knotted everywhere. Overall, not happy with how my hair turned out, but they were nice...
