Riverfront Plaza — Local services in West Chicago Township

I have never even heard of this place. I was looking for a laptop for myself and my child during this COVID season, that could handle our new normal. Frequented a few Best Buy's but everything seemed to be overpriced and understocked. Got a tip to head over to Micro Center. Boy was I glad I did. 1st off its like walking into an electronic supercenter, they have everything you could imagine and well stocked. The customer service is top-notch. I am not computer savvy at all, but my customer rep Paul Navarro was the best. When I say he patiently listened to my ramblings of what I was looking for, asked great questions and made sure I got a deal. I actually ended up purchasing two laptops, a mouse, and bags. Nice place to shop at. Staff was disoriented when it came to assisting the customers. Seem like they did not have enough staff to handle all of the customers. I can tell that some of the staff was not very well trained on what part or position they played. The micro center on Bethel road in Columbus Ohio would be a great model for the micro center in the riverfront plaza in Illinois. The micro center in Illinois, the staff wanted to aim you in a direction in their store and that’s all the help they intended to give. Versus the micro center in Columbus Ohio, they stick with you during your shopping experience willing to serve and help until the end of their stay at the store. I was not pleased with my drinks, asked for a Cosmo and it tasted like strong sweet cough syrup, so I asked for a drink called a Flirtini, that was worse than the Cosmo. My spouse ordered a similar vodka drink and she thought it tasted ok. The sevice was ok but I will not be returning to this local hangout, it's probably a good place for some beers and a sandwich but I wouldn't recommend their cocktails until they make a change to their formulae.
