I had a group reservation here on 5/19 for my birthday. I had called ahead to ask about what type of reservation I should make due to the size of the group and the person on the phone seemed very helpful. It was suggested that I reserve the high top tables near the bar so we wouldn't have an issue with separate checks and could just order directly from the bar, so this is what I did. Upon arrival, the staff admittedly was not ready for us in the high top area, then began setting us up at tables outside (the sun was going down and getting chillier). When I asked about our reservation, I was given an apology and then was told they would move us inside when they could (this never happened). At first, it seemed ok and the food was really good, but then we started experiencing the service issues I was actively trying to avoid. Drinks were taking a really long time (because orders for the whole table were being taken at one time). One of my friends attempted to order a drink from the bar on his way back from the bathroom, and was reprimanded by the waitress.... Also, when a few people tried to move around to socialize with others at the table, we were scolded by the same waitress without so much as a warning. She even went as far as to aggressively slam our drinks on the table.....She did calm down once she realized we weren't purposely trying to make her job more difficult (and were going out of our way to help her figure out the bills), but I still thought it was a huge overreaction considering we did not ask for this situation and actively tried to avoid it by calling ahead, asking questions, and making a reservation. I understand everyone has bad days, but this was a big bummer because I really liked this place in the past in...

I really liked the vibe of this place and the service is friendly and they frequent the tables. The swings as seats are still pretty unique and it made the experience overall that much more fun. Where it lacked for me was when it came to the food. There were two tacos that stood out above the rest, those were the fish and shrimp tacos. The jerk chicken for two of us at the table, it was absolutely dry and didn't taste like jerk chicken at all. My note would be to maybe use a different cut of meat instead of chicken breast and shred that. Chicken breast is something that dries out quickly. The carnitas, the barbacoa, and just nachos in general could have used a touch of salt to uplift the flavors. I know that salt can be tricky because not everyone's taste is a bit different but I'm not talking about mounds of salt. A little bit would really go a long way to bring out the flavors. I would also say that as much as I love love love that they make their own corn tortillas...they are a little too thick. I'd love to come back to give this place another try. I don't say that much when a place doesn't impress me with food; but because the atmosphere is there, service is good, and conceptually the food is there I would try it again! Some work on the execution and I think this place would...

Alright ima start this off by saying that every staff member we encountered was very polite but seemingly a little lost when it came to providing decent service. The food was definitely solid and the beer was pretty good, however, multiple items were completely messed up at our table. We were a larger party but not crazy big, so mistakes happen, however a chicken sandwich we ordered was forgotten, then last minute made and stayed on the bill. A beet salad with salmon was mistakenly made as a salmon entree, then brought back as a beet salad, but without salmon. This is all after around an hour and a half of waiting for extremely slow service. I also had to teach our server how to use the toast tab apple pay mechanic. Like I said everyone was nice, but every-time I come here (so 2 times I guess) I have been met with a staff that seemed like they all just started working here that day. I truly hate writing this but I was actually like flabbergasted at how bad our service was. And after multiple mistakes, and a 20 minute wait on a box to wrap my food up to top it all off, they did nothing to try and rectify the situation. Nice staff, just maybe need a more structured system when it comes to everything that has to do...

I dined at the Logan Square location. We chose a booth instead of the swings near the window. Although the cocktail menu offered a variety of unique cocktails, I asked for the Ravinia Margarita. I ordered a Nashville Hot Chicken and Beer Battered Cod taco. We were leary about the tacos because Ravinia has a weekday Lunch Special: two tacos, chips/guac for $10. No street tacos here. I ate everything on my plate. Be careful when you add red or green sauce to your tacos. You should probably taste each one first. If you want good food in a relaxed atmosphere and you like tacos, Ravinia is your place. I was excited to see Ravinia Brewing on the Open House Chicago list. However, I did not go there Saturday, and I volunteered at another location Sunday. I hope Ravinia will be on the OHC 2023 list. The server told us visitors toured the brewery and received free beer samples. Street parking is available.

Dog friendly patio in the back! Flights of beer and vegi options for food available. Now outdoor table service vs required to order inside Friendly and welcoming staff eager to provide you with the brews and various Mexican fusion flavors at this brewery. They have a taco Tuesday special and ever changing tap line up of their various brews. Swinging benches for those looking to sit indoors and a spacious outdoor beer garden for those looking to enjoy the weather and/or bring their puppies. Staff can be pretty busy depending on what time of day you go. I came at the busiest time during dinner and it took about 10-12 mins to get out the first round of drinks. Atmosphere is quite colorful, lively, and metropolitan. They have taps in the outside beer garden but I believe they were only for show when I went as our server would always go to the bar inside.

I saw this pop on NBC5 Today and was drawn into all the flavors and just had to get in here. I'm so glad we did. We live in the neighborhood and frequented this spit when it was Ravinia Brewing. The food and staff were amazing. We were sad when it shut down for a while. We returned to try it out this weekend, and we're so impressed. The food was so good. I had the chicken sandwich and will honestly NEVER get a chicken sandwich anywhere else. The watermelon slice was a total gamechanger, imo. The Brussel Sprouts were airy and light, just the right amount of bite, and the chicken wings are FIRE!!! We will definitely be returning! Oh yea, I almost forgot... the service was outstanding, and they kept the old staff, which really made us feel right at home. Welcome to the neighborhood!
