The worst HOMEGOODS CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER! I'm so disappointed because I absolutely love homegoods and my whole house is literally all in decor and furniture from here! However after today's experience I probably won't return there very quickly. I went in there today looking for 6 chairs to pair up for my dinning room table. My luck I found 6 of the same chairs. I quickly notified the manager WINDY (Petite Thin African American Women) who was passing by and told her I need all of these 6 chairs I'm ready to pay. She then says please go in line and we will have an associate bring them up to the register. A minute later she says there was another customer that wants 2 of the 6 chairs. I told her I was the first one to notify her and thats VERY UNFAIR! In her place, I would tell the other customer that someone is in the process of purchasing them. However she said no you can have 4. I was absolutely furious the way she handled the situation considering the fact I am a very frequent returning buyer every other homegoods I go to everyone is so nice and helpful. I was ready to pay for the chairs and I was the first one to ask if someone can put them aside for me. IM VERY ANGRY, and speechless that there are people like WINDY carrying the title "manager" when they clearly do not offer good customer service! Very unprofessional of her and instead of selling all 6 chairs, the store would be up $900 she decided to sell those two and the store made $300. I use to work in retail and we always put forward the best costumer service and reached our store goals. Clearly the store will probably loose money with Windy running it on the sales floor if she continues to have such addititude and such an unpleasant personality! I rather drive 15 miles more to go to the suburbs homegoods then visit this one near...
Read moreMy recent visit to HomeGoods, alongside my wife, transformed our home decorating experience into something truly special. As we embarked on this journey together, we were immediately struck by the extensive and diverse selection that HomeGoods had to offer. This wasn’t just shopping; it was an adventure in style and creativity.
Unlike our previous experiences with online platforms like Amazon or Wayfair, HomeGoods provided us with a tangible, stress-free environment. We could easily visualize how different pieces would fit into our home, something that’s often challenging to do online. The variety of styles, ranging from mid-century modern to more eclectic designs, catered to both our tastes, making it a perfect spot for couples with diverse preferences.
The highlight of our trip was the ease of finding items that both of us loved. Whether it was unique decor pieces or functional furniture, HomeGoods had it all, under one roof. It was refreshing to shop in a place where we could physically see, touch, and compare the items, making our decisions more confident and satisfying.
In conclusion, HomeGoods offers a remarkable shopping experience, especially for couples looking to furnish and decorate their home together. The store’s wide range of styles, coupled with a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, makes it a must-visit for anyone looking to enhance their living space. It’s a place where couples can not only find beautiful items for their home but also enjoy the process of choosing...
Read moreI bought pillows here and placed them in an area of my home we rarely sit ... mostly when we have guests. The fabric on the pillow/s is cheap & awful ... the material bunches up into thousands of little balls just like on a sweater. As a result they look completely worn, although we don't really sit on them. Also, all the feathers keep coming out ... all over my house. Very messy pillow. Not to mention, when we do sit there ... our guests get pricked with feathers. Long story short, they are horrible quality and I am not happy with them as they are not user friendly. The 30 days has passed, but I kept the tags and receipt. According to the website, customer satisfaction is HomeGoods' priority and they will give store credit beyond 30 days with receipt. The pillows look like crap because the poor product quality, bunched up fabric and feathers everywhere (which is why I wanted to bring them back) ... for the same reason, the sales lady wouldn't take them back. They wouldn't look like that if they were a good quality! Anyways, she offered to throw them away for me ... which I think is very cliche ... she's admitting their product is crap and yet she's not standing behind the quality and satisfaction of their merchandise. Why would I want to buy pillows that are garbage after a couple months. She said they only take back "new" items ... but you need to use an item to see if it works, so in other words ... customer satisfaction means nothing to the...
