Office Depot — Attraction in West Covina

I just arrived at officedepoot, and a lady with a tattoo behind her ear received me. She was very impatient with me. She asked me if I needed paper or something else for the photos. I didn't understand, so I just said paper. She gave me three sheets of A4 soft paper, and I said that this was not what I wanted. As a result, she threw them directly into the trash can. Then I said that I wanted the look of the photo, and she impatiently helped me print it out. The error in expression was my problem, but when checking out, she ran over to the man who helped me and said that she had the money for four sheets of soft paper to check out together. Excuse me, you printed them out and threw them away and still want me to pay? HORRIBLE customer service! Went in for a quick print, there were 4 employees working and 3 customers all in line for printing. One employee was actually helping customers print, but the second he finished the transaction he proceeded to deal with other unimportant tasks shuffling papers around rather than tending to the line of customers standing in front of him. The other two girls were equally useless as they saw us standing there and continued to talk to customers on the phone. What is this a Call Center?? You would think they would prioritize the customers who have been STANDING THERE IN FRONT OF THEM WAITING. One guy who had been waiting before me got agitated and finally said "Are you guys gonna do anything? I need to get back to work". They glanced up and said nothing, so I left without printing anything. This Office Depot is one of its smallest stores I had been. What it lacks for size is compensated by the excellence of its service. I was attended to by the general manager herself, Katie. Not only did she discounted the printing cost through a store coupon, she also bound my booklet at no cost. This is most helpful because my business expenses are over the top already. When she gave me my receipt, she mentioned in particular the $10 coupon that I could use for my next purchase. I know she is already tired due to the influx of customers but she still served me with everything she got. There were two young lady associates who were also serving the customers well. Those who want their printing jobs done are directed to fall in line. For faster service, the print jobs maybe emailed to them ahead of time. It is fine too if the file is in a USB.
