Well, let me begin with the fact that I was a complete novice when it came to laser hair removal when I first purchased my groupon package through laseraway. Therefore, I purchased a 3 series laser service for a large area for about $300. When I finally booked my laser away appointment I was informed (like I said novice) that it would take 6 treatments and that my area would not work due to not dark enough hair. After trying to find alternatives I eventually was suckered into the CLEAR and BRILLIANT facial care separate and changed my laser hair removal area altogether. Heres the catch!!! The first 3 laser away treatments wouldn't take the hair away, so they said I had to pay an additional $800 something dollars for the rest of the treatments, me being tired and ignorant I was all in. Come to find out, my sister got a large area and a free small area with 6 treatments for $250. I ENDED UP PAYING A TOTAL OF $1100!! And the lady there made me feel like I was getting SUCH A great DEAL, EVERYTHING WAS ON SALE! Like I said my dumb fault but BE WARNED! These people are scam artists! The service is nothing to write home about for having such a price difference. Since then on groupon I have found similar packages for all 6 treatments for less than 300 for X-LARGE areas. I mean seriously these people are rip offs. So to continue I started getting these supposedly AMAZING Clear and Brilliant Treatments and they cost me $2200! Yes, my total bill leaving LASERAWAY was $3500!!! Which I Can not believe I did!!! But they have these sales people that will tell you, you will look like a million dollars afterwards. I have had 3 treatments with clear and brilliant and It has made MY PORES LARGER NOT SMALLER MY SKIN WAS FINE before and now it looks awful. I mean I clearly had some poor self esteem before buying these thinking it would make me look a little better but it has made me feel worse and my skin worse 100%. I know there all these great reviews about Clear and Brilliant but literally you are under a laser for 15 minutes or less and you pay thousands of dollars and it feels like not much happens, well at least to me. You get 6 treatments, after the first one I thought my skin would look great but after now 4 I literally look like a sponge and my skin is peeling and I wish I could go back and not spend thousands of dollars I don't have. They sell you on this care credit card which has no interest for years, definitely a selling point for me but I am warning you all. Do your homework, this place is subpar at best there is NO REASON to spend hundreds or thousands more dollars on something that is being offered for much less! I am not paying premium prices anymore because "famous people" rep this brand. This place is awful! Scam artists! There is NO REASON for these ridiculous over priced services. I actually had one nurse while layering my face tell me how much she hated her job and that she never wanted to be a nurse, "it just pays the bills," she stated. I mean seriously lady, you are putting lasers on my face right now, plus it was the quickest appointment I had...

First consultation was great. Nice and superfriendly, informative, helpful and attentive. I bought the package to get hair "lasered away" under my arms, on my legs and my private parts. Whenever I went there for my sessions, the front staff was very nice and welcoming, the place was always clean and I never had to wait longer than 5 mins. I had a different nurse every time but all of them very open, friendly and we'd always chat. I never felt uncomfortable. Even the treatments didn't hurt. It felt like plucking your eyebrows, if at all. But I'm pretty tolerant to pain. After each treatment my skin felt great, smooth and I really thought 'This is awesome! Finally something that will work!'. When I started my treatments I was told I'm the "perfect candidate" because of my fair skin and dark hair.

So, why just 2 stars? Well, after 7 treatments absolutely nothing changed. My hair growth is exactly the same. One difference is, I have a few spots where hair doesn't grow as much, but it's still there. It looks even worse than before.

Of course, they tell you right from the start that nothing is guaranteed, too. You can't expect those perfect results. To be honest, for over $2000 I expected a little change at least. And if it just thinning the hairs, having a couple of spots that I still need to shave or whatever. But as mentioned, it is as it was before.

Another thing that upset me is that I feel like they don't really use strongest power level or whatever it is to get the best results, and definitely not consistently. I told them they can give me all they got because I felt like this would be needed and I could handle it.

Also, they do not follow up with you at all. They do not care about results or how you feel about your experience. When I had to cancel an appointment they would never call me to set a new one, even after months/years. You'd think that they'd call after a while and remind you of your last treatment since you spent so much money on it and they act like they're a serious, legitimate, "medical" facility. By now, I see that seven treatments didn't do anything and I'm frustrated so I don't even bother anymore to go in for that last one.

Honestly, my overall impression is that it is nothing but a fake nice WeHo facade. Eager to get your money for overpriced and non-working treatments. But if it works or not ... who cares, they...

I am sad to have to write a negative review. Almost all my reviews are good, because I believe too many people focus on the bad, and not bother to follow up on the good.

I had a lot of work done in December. Botox, fillers, etc. I had a chemical peel a few weeks before. I wanted to get all my work done before the cruise I was taking over Christmas. I explained this to Tracy and the nurse who was to do the injections. I specifically asked if there would be any issues getting the treatment done so close to the cruise. I was assured there wouldn't be. They felt confident because I have been getting Botox and Fillers for many, many years, and have had NO issues with bruising. Laser Away took my $3000.00 and injected away.

2 days later, my face was one big bruise. Everywhere. My lips, my forehead, my cheeks, etc. It was awful. I looked so bad, that I was afraid to fly home to Colorado as scheduled, to spend time with my husband, and pack for the cruise. I knew he would be angry when he saw what I let someone do to my face. We have taken a family cruise every Christmas/New Years since my adult children were babies. We always took many pictures, and had professional ones done. This year, I took only evening pictures from afar, and had no professional pictures done.

People make mistakes. It's what is done afterwards that counts. I went back to Laseraway and forced them to take pictures of my face. I wanted to make sure no one would have to go through what I went through. I told the to use it for teaching purposes.

I lost money on my ticket to Colorado, my ticket from Colorado to Florida where I was to catch the cruise, and had to purchase a new last minute tick fro LA to Florida. I spoke to Tracy, and got lip service. I called over and over again, and all she could say was that she would get back to me. I would get a return call for every 7-10 calls I made.

No one should be treated in such a poor manner. I felt like writing the California Medical Board. I now have a dark spot on my upper lip that has still not gone away. I consider my time valuable, but am taking the time to write this in hopes of saving another unsuspecting prospective patient.
