I am absolutely in love with this place! As someone with a lot of brows it was critical to me to find someone I trusted with them. After doing deep (read: obsessive) research I found Nika. First of all, this gal has the most stunning brows I’ve literally ever seen so I knew I was in good hands. Nika is not only meticulous with her work she is such a kind and warm person who makes me feel like I’m just catching up with a friend every time I get my lamination.

Nika also took incredible care of my mom when she visited me in LA last month. My mom had very overplucked brows that made her self conscious when she wasn’t wearing makeup so I told her about Nika and that she also does “micro-feathering” that helps build a very natural and soft shape. My mom, who is in her mid 60s, had never considered this was even an option. She’s one of those classic Midwestern moms who never would get a tattoo in her life but when told she could get her brows permanently done and skip the brow pencil she was convinced. (Oh and not have to spend like 1000 dollars? Massive bonus.)

Sensing my mom was nervous, Nika spent extra time building the perfect shape for my mom to approve before beginning the actual microfeathering. My mom was absolutely stunned by how natural her results were immediately after and also by how painless the process really was. Now she will call me and tell me how confident she feels even without makeup. She says the brows make her feel like she looks awake, youthful and confident. So, now I have two aunts who want to come visit me and conveniently get theirs done too.

you guys... where do I even begin to tell you about my incredible experience microblading with Hayden in Newport..

Before finding Hayden, I did a lot of research on microblading, and looked into a few different businesses that do it all over Southern California. I was pretty hesitant to make an appointment anywhere because it seemed difficult finding a right artist to get basically a semi permanent tattoo on your face haha! As someone that also had a terrible habit of touching and pulling my eyebrow hairs, I knew my brows needed a lot of work.

Hayden was recommended to me by a friend through Instagram, where I was able to see all her "before and after" photos, and read up on her FAQ's, so I felt very confident walking in to my first appt.

From the moment I walked in she instantly made me feel comfortable! We chatted through the entire appt, and she talked through the different steps as she was blading. At the end we discussed the heeling process, which I could tell from our conversation is extremely important to follow if you want the right results. So just be prepared heading into the appointment not to sweat or get water on your brows for about 9 days.

But most importantly, she did an incredible job! You can tell she's an artist outside of microblading, because they look so natural, but fuller and fluffier :) I'm about to completed the final healing process for my follow-up appt, and for the first time in year I actually love my brows. The real question is, are you a good lash client? Because Mollie is quite talented at her craft and she is really fast. But do you deserve that? Do you deserve high quality lashes at a reduced wait time? No. Not likely. But let me help you be a better client to her.

Here’s the thing. There are a million different lash artists out there now. They all do great lashes. Finding a fast one who doesn’t need to hear your life story? BORDERLINE IMPOSSIBLE.

You wanna keep up the great work? Stop telling your lash artists about your boring life. Stop being an influencer asking for a favor. Lie down, sit still. Maybe in the 10 minutes that she is doing IMPOSSIBLY FAST WORK, you uncover a story of yourself that might impress her. Try it. See if she likes it. She will tell you.
