Dollar Tree — Attraction in Whittier

Worst employee's EVER. Every single time I come in here, every employee I've dealt with is lazy & rude. Horrible customer service, EVER SINGLE TIME. I just went in to buy balloons for my daughters award ceremony today and I had my 3 year old son with me (running around and giving me a hard time). Kathleen blew up my balloons & was my cashier. The store was empty and she wasnt doing anything but when I asked if she could put weights on my balloon, she pointed to the box of them and said "you can put it on yourself" RUDE AS HELL. Although she saw me struggling with my toddler and then gave me my total amount due, I was struggling to put on the weights myself while also having to get cash out of my purse and keep an eye on my toddler. No customer service skills AT ALL. You're getting paid for a JOB and you should at least ACT like you are grateful for your job & serving your community. There's one older lady there who us really extra sweet. I dont know her name but everyone is rude to her because she is actually a nice, happy person and every one else there is miserble. I am disappointed with the level of customer service at this location. Regardless of where one works, professionalism and pride in one’s role—especially in a customer-facing environment—should be standard. Unfortunately, some of the cashiers here do not reflect that. Today, I witnessed deeply concerning behavior toward my 85-year-old mother, who is hard of hearing. As she placed her items on the conveyor belt, the cashier abruptly and rudely slapped one of the items aside simply because it moved too close to the register.
