I visited the store today to purchase some items that were available according to the website. Upon my arrival, the items were not in stock even though it still stated they were in stock online. They had the same items in a bulk package that I was going to buy individually (BOGO free versus full price) so I asked if they would honor the same prices as the individual items as shown online. One of the workers told the manager that I wanted to speak to her and I was told she would be right out as soon as she finished her lunch. Of course I asked if she would be awhile and I was told that she was on her way. 15 minutes later I had to ask for her again. I think she was hoping I'd just leave. I waited near the isle where the items should have been and was then told the manager was waiting near the cashier. 20 minutes later I was told she couldn't give them to me at that price. According to the manager, Vanessa, the website often says the store has items that it actually doesn't, which was upsetting because not only did I waste my gas, I also wasted a lot of my valuable time. I find that some employees go above and beyond trying to help with anything that they can, but other times they almost seem allowed that you ask a question regarding product in their store. For example, I went in looking for a fabric glue once and the employee I asked pointed me to the area with the glue. I asked if there was one that was good for adhering fabric to other materials, and her response was to read the bottle. Fair enough, I had already read but was asking for clarification, which she responded it does what the bottle says. Maybe me, but I expect some sort of attempt at pretending to care about customers. At other times, I've had exceptional service with their custom framing and framing supplies. Cashier service is a mixed bag too, but tends to lean towards slow...
Read moreI had a terrible experience there because I already had got what I wanted and this employee was doing a raffle and said you have to be there when they call your name. So my son wanted the raffle toy so we waited n waited and they finally did the raffle and they called some woman's name and wasn't there. And they waited for her. My son that's just a little boy and like the only one standing there wanting the toy. The employee just left my son there standing like and itedot. And gave it to some random woman that just wanted in from out side of the store! My son was do hurt! And on top of that the cashier charged me the wrong price ! I have gone there many times and never left there so upset! 😡 I never want to go back there again! I'm going to Walmart for arts and crafts...
