Been parking at and buying from Laura's for YEARS. Was excited to see that we could still park at Laura's while enjoying the boardwalk today and pick up some confections. Two seagulls one stone! But we instead encountered a rabid employee foaming at the mouth while we showed loyal patronage here!
This time we bought a bunch of taffy at Laura's, Its fine taffy. Had my partner pay for the parking just for the older (blonde? Grey?) woman employee to come out and yell at me that's she told me I couldn't park where I was parking! She hadn't even seen me before as my group bought and paid for parking, on top of it the parking spaces are unmarked. She was too occupied yelling at me to stop and be reasoned with. She followed my car around the lot barking at me until I parked where she wanted me to despite my attempt to ask politely for proper instructions. Alas it must've simply been too titillating to yell at a customer and take her frustrations of this mortal coil out on unsuspecting people who're just trying to be chill and enjoy their day.

Read moreSince as long as I can remember this is the place my family and I would always go for our fudge! Now...I take my own kids like my parents took me...part because of nostalgia but more importantly because their product is far superior then any others in wildwood. The fudge is to die for and I'm not even a sweets guy:) Now for the real reason for my post-this is a family run business and although I didn't know that until recently, I was lucky enough to meet 2 of the daughters and owners of Laura's last weekend. When I tell you that they are more then titled owners...they are there working along side the employees to maintain the quality that I have always known, there to put the personal touch on your experience, there to make sure you leave happy. Job well done ladies and thank you sincerely for the way you spoiled my son and daughter after we shared Erin's journey at CHOP with you! We will not...
