pleasant experience overall. Here are some key points that stood out to us:
Convenient Parking: The parking for the hotel is located just a block away in an underground lot. It's good to park in a corner spot, as this lot gets quite busy, and cars often end up blocking each other. Bike Rental: If you enjoy morning bike rides with your spouse or family, this location is perfect. There’s a bike rental station conveniently situated right outside the hotel, literally just steps away. Prime Location: This hotel is perfectly located for exploring all the attractions! Situated right in the heart of the boardwalk, it’s ideal for strolling. My wife and I plan to walk one half of the boardwalk one day and the other half the next. This area offers plenty of dining options and games. Outdoor Seating: Our room was on the second floor, and we appreciated the chairs available for sitting outside and enjoying the view. Room Amenities: The mini refrigerator was surprisingly spacious and included a freezer compartment. The room also had a microwave, which was convenient for quick meals. Room Size: We anticipated a very small room, and while it was indeed compact, it proved to be comfortable enough for two people and a baby. Bathroom: The bathroom is quite small, making it a bit challenging to walk past the sink. However, it was functional, and the shower had plenty of hot water. Air Conditioning: The air conditioner functions excellently, perhaps a bit too well, as it made the room quite chilly! It looked almost new, suggesting it was recently replaced before summer. There's a rule requiring the air conditioner to be turned off when leaving for the day. When you return, the room might be a bit warm, but it's an understandable policy, and the room cools down quickly once the air conditioner is turned back on. Limited Outlets: I would have appreciated more outlets throughout the room. Although there's an extension cord near the TV, it wasn’t quite sufficient for our needs. With our 7-month-old baby, we required additional outlets for items like the bottle warmer and sock monitors. Missing Amenities:The room did not have an iron or ironing board. Friendly Staff: The front desk staff member was incredibly friendly. (She may be the owner) She greeted me with a warm "hello" and "good morning," and even complimented my outfit if she liked it. A truly pleasant experience.
Overall, we will definitely return to this hotel in the future. We have no complaints; our experience...
Read moreThis was the worst place I've ever stayed at. Upon our arrival they did not let us check in because not all five girls were there even though we had the money. Then we get into our room and its not what we asked for or paid for. So we were already upset about that because if you pay for something you expect what you paid for. But we got over it since it was our prom weekend. WE KINDA FIGURED WERE BARELY GOING TO BE HOME SO IT WASNT A BIG DEAL. So the next day we had friends over for breakfast, we cooked our friends breakfast as a lets all get together and talk about our first day. So after breakfast they all leave, then we go downstairs and the lady starts telling us we aren't allowed to have people over and when we asked why her answer was "because". mind you we couldn't understand half of what she was saying, and she's speaking in her own language. So whatever we walked away, then I come back with one of my friends, and the owner lady had her husband "worker" outside. So before I even went up the stairs he stood in front of me and said wristbands. So i tell him were going up then coming down, and he goes no. So then I go into the office and ask where in the contract does it say we can't have people over, and in the contract it says "No overnight visitors allowed" So i told her nowhere in the contract does it say we couldn't have people over. So whatever I go upstairs then come back down. We only slept there for a day, the next day her husband kept following us around the hotel, watching us, mind you he was only following us around. So my friend and I leave for the boardwalk like around 10 at night, we were gone for an hour we come back and I hear screaming. I go to the hotel and my other friends are arguing with the guy, because he followed her up to our room. So im trying to keep calm and everyone else calm, so I go to grab the door and the land lady HITS ME ! I lost it at that point. But yeah she physically assaulted me, then when the cops come she said I was lying, min you theres like ten witnesses, and like four cameras. hen she's laughing in out face. Long story short we got our security deposit back, I filed a police report for the assault, and the husband. We paid about $800 for this place, and it was disgusting. It smelt bad, the bed were small, it was bad I do not recommend you staying there. This isn't the first time Ive heard that she's hit one of her customers....

I would give negative stars if I could. The rudeness of the owner is outrageous. I was hesitant to book this place because of the negative reviews but chose to take a chance since the price was reasonable. I now know that the reviews are true. I emailed the property when the prepayment refund will be processed but got no response. I waited few days then I called to verify they got the cancellation which booking.com advised to do. A woman answered and she sounded like she didn't know about the cancellation. She said stop yelling, which I never did, and in unfriendly voice said she would process the refund and it'll be in my cc in couple of days. When the refund didn't show up, I called her to ask about the progress of the refund and she said "don't bother me!" And hung up on me. I couldn't believe how a business owner could treat customers this way. After she hung up on me I wrote another email about the refund and she responded with "Stop calling and threatening me check with your bank!" I never threatened her, I just wanted answers about my refund. I should have just gone through my cc company and filed a complaint and let them deal with this rude woman. I would never advise anyone to book this place. Just imagine the treatment you would get. I've never gotten this kind of rude treatment in all my life. I wish booking.com would have handled the refund for free cancellations instead of telling customers to contact...
