I had a good experience with the husband and wife duo that owns Bilzi Mac repair. I bought a used Macbook Air in August and 2 months later I bought a used iMac desktop. The laptop had a broken piece of plastic on the sleeve that covers the hinge that keeps the monitor/screen fastened to the base of the laptop. A couple months after using the laptop, the hinge broke below the plastic sleeve and needed to be repaired. I brought it back to them and they told me it was not uncommon for that type of machine to break in that spot. All computers have a weak spot and that's it on the Air. It cost 200.00 to repair the hinges on the monitor/screen and the base. I paid without asking questions even though I felt like it should have been covered b/c it had damage to that area when I bought it. I should have had them pull the machine apart and look at it in front of me when I purchased it to make sure there was no potential damage to the hinge. When I picked it up, the repair seemed perfect. The machine open and closed like normal and looked good. 5 days after I started using the machine again it began to crack on the sleeve in the same spot. I brought the machine to their shop the next day and they offered to buy it back. The owner gave me a full refund for what I spent without any hassle. This doesn't happen anymore it seems like. I feel like it was the right thing for them to do and they offered it without me having to ask. I greatly appreciate their good business. I own a small business myself and understand the value in a happy customer when something out of the customers hands goes wrong. My used desktop that I also bought from them works great! If I need another used Mac, I will buy from them again. If I have a need for any repairs, Ill have them repair it. I never write reviews. It seemed appropriate for this situation to show potential customers for purchase or repair that they are good people that care about their customers....

Both Steve and Sue Bilzi have been extraordinarily helpful, friendly, and accomplished in two days what two other Computer Tech Companies (calling themselves “Experts”) have never been able to achieve. For over a decade we have been struggling daily with our computer system that had a multitude of problems. The “Experts” only provided partial solutions, charged us a fortune, and continually left us hobbling.
We struggled with this daily, until we learned about and approached Steve Bilzi. He came out to our offices and reviewed our entire system which consists of both iMac and PC Computers. Within one day his diagnosis was complete. The next day he brought in a new hard drive, installed more RAM, 3 external hard-drives to back up our IBackup Program, and spent a few more hours upgrading and fine tuning our computers, all the while searching and finding the rest of the “hidden demons”. He was able to establish solid communications between our IMacs and the PC Server. This was one of our weakest links within the system, and Steve resolved it.
For the past 30 days, we have not had any issue of being dropped, our systems open each morning quickly and without any mishap, our speed of operation has never been this fast, and all unnecessary popups are gone. We are thrilled and the increased efficiency that Steve has provided us is unmeasurable and much appreciated!

   Read moreI am a freshman at UNCW and accidentally shattered my brand new Mac Book air. I was beyond devastated and called everyone I knew immediately to find help. I tried the UNCW IT department but they were no help. I tried apple support and while the man I was on the phone with was beyond kind he was not helpful. I thought my last resort was Best Buy. I went in and got an estiament for around $800-$1000. Now I dont know about yall but as an unemployed college student I couldn't afford that. I went home expecting to call my mom and get yelled at but before I called I did some research and found this place. All I can say is that is it heaven sent. I read the reviews and they were top notch, I read on their website that they give a student discount, and they had dogs. (who could resist) I go in the next morning and with no wait they take my laptop. They were the sweetest people ive ever met in my life. They reassured me that they would be quick and as helpful as possible. I didn't think they meant 3 hours. thats right. THREE HOURS. my damaged screen was fixed in three hours. Not 5-7 business days like all the other places said. My laptop was fixed in the same 24 hours it was broken, and It was also much cheaper then I expected.
