Green Light Escape Room, LLC — Attraction in Wilmington

The Green light escape room was quite the memorable birthday experience - I was taken here as a surprise, so it really made the mystery behind it even better. Upon getting to the area, Micah (our game master) explained the rules of the escape room, and guided us through some in-game interactions we should be aware of as first timers. He was very sweet and patient, which really set a positive stage for the events to come. Upon entering the escape room “The Attic” we were surprised by the set up - from props, to lighting, and the eerie feel it had. It was also very clean, which was comforting. Without offering any spoilers, Micah was amazing at guiding us through the escape room within lore related context. If there were any moments where we were stuck, we’d hear a ping on our iPad to offer us guidance. We could choose to use or disregard the hints, but we chose to use them. He was incredibly cognizant of timing, so it helped us flow through the escape room much easier to pay attention to all the iPad pings. Throughout the whole escape room experience, we were immersed, and got lost in the story and puzzles. We finished JUST as the timer rang, and got a chance to escape from Claire. this is THEE place to go for an escape room experience in wilmington! everyone i dealt with, starting with calling before making a reservation to inquire about what room would be the best fit for my family, was extremely nice, patient, and helpful! i have to elaborate on their stellar customer service! on our breakout room day we were running a little late, stuck in traffic. i called to let them know that we wouldn't make the '15 mins before our scheduled time' window hoping they wouldn't give our spot away. David assured me everything would be ok and, even though i'm sure we messed up their schedule by arriving 5 minutes after our scheduled time, he was still very thorough with the briefing (we had 3 escape room newbies so that was crucial) and made us all laugh too! we did 'kidnapped' and they knocked it out of the park with this room! the major highlights that made this an exceptional experience for my family, compared to some other escape rooms i've done, the story was innovative, the requested hints were applicable, and the room was brilliantly done. oh, AND we escaped!...

My family and I were walking around downtown Wilmington when we saw the sign for an escape room and decided to try it out. We followed signs into the building and up the stairs. That's where we found Jackson. He was so helpful. He walked us through how the escape room works and which ones were easiest and which were the hardest. We went with the Brewery Heist! Jackson was able to let us start the escape room right away (no wait time, how lucky!). My brother-in-law was really hesitant to be willingly locked into a room for "fun", but when the clock started ticking he got really into the spirit of working together to solve the puzzles. We had so much fun working as a team to figure out the room. It was way harder than I anticipated, but we were allowed a few hints. (Thanks Jackson!)
