Park is a small fenced area, Nothing special about it. Took our Toy Aussie there, she is friendly and tend to be submissive around bigger dogs that would play rough, But she can totally stand up for herself.. There was two Siberian Husky there, which the owner didn't had any control over them. They targeted my dog, the owner kept talking a bunch to them get away and they didn't care, it got chaotic our dog tried to fought back and got bit in the neck. Me and my husband had to yell and get the dogs away, while his owner didn't seem to care. Of course i'm angry about the idiot owner. So be aware, because not all owners are responsible and care about others safety at all. There was a big dog attack in this park last year also, where the attacked dog and owner got injured, and the attacker owner didn't took any responsibility. So, over all not so safe and good park to take your friendly puppy! We are definitely not...
Read moreAwesome park especially in the summer with little ones. We go there to take our 5 year old to the splash pad and water feature.
Always tons of kids playing and always room. There are a few trees around the splash pad as well as a covered area for shade, and restrooms nearby.
There is also a nice large playground with equipment for everyone. Right now the "big" slide is closed but everything else is open and there are plenty of other slides.
Baby swing and toddler sized equipment foe the smaller ones.
Once you're done playing, take a walk on one of the trails. Trails connect to the lower park ad well. There are also several covered areas for picnic and food, birthday parties etc.
There are pavilions that you can rent as well as the free ones. Overall just a great and family friendly park. Some trails are paved so bike riding is...
Read moreThis place is pretty awesome for where it's located. There is a great variety of things to do. It has an outdoor basketball court, baseball fields, 2 tennis courts, 2 pickle ball courts, beach volleyball court (not on a beach but it's a sand court), disc golf, a playground, skate park, plenty of picnic tables, multiple covered areas with BBQS for parties/events that can be reserved if needed. There are hiking trails along the river which are nothing special but are nice for walking the dogs or just taking a casual walk. There is also river access with a dock (it can get pretty crowded in the summer time but is still nice). And there is lots of just open grassy areas for activities. And lastly there are public restrooms with running water. I take my dogs here...
