This is a nice park with enclosed off leash areas separately for small/ large pups. But sadly there’s always poop left behind in the large dog area. Not sure why so many large breed pet parents don’t pick up after their fur babies. They ruin it for the good fur parents. I mean, Wow!!! Even the dog knew his pet parent needed to pick up his poop by making it as convenient as possible and pooping next to the bags. But THAT didn’t even get the point across to the bad doggy parents..,

Love this dog park and park! The dogs and people are very friendly and owners are responsible in regards to picking up after their animal(s). There are plenty of trails to walk on and open fields. There are even trails leading down to the Williamette River where there's a dock to fish or just relax. My pups love it and I do too! The park even has a playground, skate board park, baseball fields, several shelters and picnic tables, tennis courts and plenty of parking!

I love this park because there is a fenced off-leash dog area for either big/active dogs and another fenced off-leash dog area for small/calm dogs. Not only that, if you don't want to go to the fence off leash, there are plenty of trails. They keep poo bags stocked. Although the big dog park has a few puddles, they are in the center, and there is a nice gravel pathway around the park and a covered sitting area. In the small dog park, there is also a covered sitting area. There is a lower area to the dog park that has disc golf, soccer fields, skate park, basketball hoops, and a playground. The upper part of the park above the dog parks has a little outdoor water play area for summer. It also has a very large playground and park restrooms with individual stalls. The park is very clean. If there is an event at the upper park, parking can be slim, but you can always park below and walk up. The dog park area doesn't seem to run out of space either. My dogs and my 5 year old niece love this park! Something...

Be mindful of what your dogs are sniffing in the grass, especially in the far corners. Was at this dog park for a few hours and upon returning home (as in getting out of the car, had not been anywhere else) my dog started acting neurological. I took her immediately to the emergency vet thinking maybe she had a concussion from clunking heads with another dog, but vet recognized her symptoms immediately as THC poisoning. I'd been sitting in the shade at the table in the far left corner, and somehow my dog must have found what was left of someone's joint -- and I have definitely smelled marijuana smoke in the area, possibly on the disc golf course, on more than one occasion there in the past. My dog was OK after about 6 hours of keeping her cool and hydrated, but it was scary. The grass is longer here than at other dog parks, and stuff can hide. Please just keep an eye on your dogs and make sure they're not eating anything suspicious. And NO, there was no weed at our house or in the car she could have...

Usually a great safe place to go. My Dog is comfortable here. Many of my neighbors come here. Never had a problem with any dogs being more aggressive than mounting One another. Today though a large husky/malamute Dog was present. And the dog was very aggressive starting fights with three pitties, a Dogo Argentino, and a couple of other smaller dogs. It was quite disappointing. The ONLY thing that went really wrong with it is that the Dog was not Just displaying His place on the alpha Order,, BUT he was far more AGGRESSIVE Than Any other person should feel safe with. AND, it wasn't the owner that was intervening, it was the owners of the handful of dogs being threatened by this Very Dog Aggressive Dog,!! ! Thought it was way beneath the Happy visitors, socializing and feeling safe standards. Other than this rare occurrence, An absolute Great...
