Nos fuimos a celebrar el cumpleaños de mi papa en santa fe Wilsonville Oregon #yum

UPDATE: 5/29/25. We've been back to Santa Fe several times since my first review. Overall the food is still decent and not really any big complaints there. The service however is not good. Absolute rudeness. Our waiter rolled her eyes several times at us, and was very rough in handing and grabbing back menus. Pretty much acted like we were really a bother to her. If we ask for anything she acted like she was doing us a favor and that we were putting her out. This is the third time that we have had extremely rude and poor service here in the last 2 months. Super disappointing... But today was the worst. Our server was absolutely beyond rude and for absolutely no reason. She walked up to our table like that... In a foul mood, condescending, impatient, rolling her eyes, grabbing menus back... This is no longer a place that I will be giving my money to. I do like their food, but I don't spend money at establishments that treat their customers like this. It's really too bad, but for the $$$$ money, it's not worth being treated like crap. My suggestion is go elsewhere If you want both decent food and decent service. Excellent food and drinks for a fair price. We've been in twice and the first time the service was excellent, the second time was on a weekend evening and they did not have enough servers to cover tables and the wait for food was very long but the servers were kind and polite and very apologetic. Overall I really like this place minus our order is getting mixed up and confused to buy the waiter and terribly long wait times at once you put your order in.

We had dinner on the 3rd day from their opening. The restaurant layout and decor shine with a metropolitan-modern Mexican flair. The vibe is fun with peppy modern music. The service was good, however, they are still figuring out a few gaps on who and when a table gets service. I'm confident they will get their flow soon. The staff was pleasant, happy, engaging, and sincerely trying to do a good job. The food. Priced well in comparison to neighboring Mexican restaurants. The menu is well-defined and laid out with good choices for a wide range of tastes. The salsa, chips, and beans served as appetizers are tasty. The food plating and presentation were good and uniquely presented. We had a chili relleno plate and it was delicious. We also had their Banderas Enchiladas which were great. See pictures. Drinks. If you like martinis, skip it and try one of their signature drinks. We had a vodka martini and it was average. However, we had their Mega-Cazuela and it was fabulous. Highly recommend it. Just don't plan on driving after having one. Overall, I recommend Santa Fe restaurant.

I’ve always loved this place the minute they opened. I was hesitant to leave a review because the customer service, ONLY the person taking to go orders a teenage girl? Was always on her phone or when I would call to order to go, she either could not or did not understand or retain the information of ordering 1 birria plate. To make it long story short. I’m driving back home with my partner and I REALLY wanted to order a birria plate because hands down, THE BEST AROUND. I love Birria in Portland but Santa Fe? —Uff baby, hands down the BEST I ever had! Anyways I called in, now, was hesitant because each and every time I called in the past same girl would answer ask what I want and when I said Birria plate, she would always repeat/forgot my order over the phone. Ask what I meant what I wanted and would even ask me what that was. I felt like it was a joke to play on a friend but I was extremely confused, as it had been a CONSTANT interaction and RARELY was actually able to order. I didn’t want to leave a bad review over one person. Especially because anything that you order from here is quality. So I just want to say thank you for improving your customer service because I would call just to order that among a few others and I would ALWAYS end up going in to have to go in to physically order food to go or I simply wouldn’t be able to order because the younger girl who would answer wouldn’t/couldn’t? Take my order. I’ll be HAPPILY ordering more to go, as driving to the restaurant to place an order and then waiting can be...

I understand their new, so rush, like dinner on a Friday night, quality tends to go down a bit, I ate with my son, we were sat with no silverware or water, we ordered our drinks and then had to consistently ask for refills or our cup would set empty otherwise. My tacos were good, but 22$ for six tiny tacos? With very minimal filling, I do feel like I can get a better deal at Juan Colorados, and have left overs, or the corner Mexican shop, their tacos are amazing and cheaper a lot more juicy and stuffed full of meat. Sure the atmosphere is amazing, vibes all the way, decor is beautiful and rich with culture. But I also would like to get my moneys worth. My son's lobster enchiladas were good but then his beans and rice literally tasted like fish, like the cook didn't drain the lobster enough before assembling enchiladas and lobster water flavored everything else . Staff seemed flustered and had a few strong waiters trying to hold the show together. their biggest flex is their bartender, he's clean cut fast and makes amazing, almost deadly drinks. I loved all three drinks. And feel they were worth the price. Actually tasty. I'm sure once more established they will receive better rating from me. And if you take a look at Wayne D's comment you will find yourself a man who probably doesn't take honest...
