So this place is frustrating. I am very aware of staff shortages and overall business during the holiday season; however, I have been going here for years and within the last 8 months, their to-go service is just not great. In person, awesome.
Yesterday I placed an order to go, said ready at 6:30. Show up at 6:35, no hostess at the counter. I wait about 8 minutes for the hostess to come up and greet me. Tells the back I’m there, 3 other people waiting for their food as well.
6:55 - my food is brought out to me. No extra sauce. Big point: they never, ever get the sauce count right. My partner and I love their sauces but even through the app and confirming, they NEVER get it right so note to anyone - please check that your sauces are right. I always do and they will go to the back and get what you need, very grateful for that. But still like come on, it’s on the note.
Anyways, food is in the bag. Get home and the pizza is wrong. First time my partner decides to try the pizza and instead of a classic pep/ex sauce/well done, it’s a meat lovers/normal sauce/not well done. Don’t get me wrong, meat lovers is great but not what we wanted.
Not trying to complain, just trying to bring awareness that their to-go service is not great anymore. I’ve been in customer service and it can suck but for the wait time not being adjusted to the right time, (minding that the place is 40% full for dine-in) and our food being wrong - sauces, pizza and fries, it’s just not what it used to be.
There was a gentleman in a black shirt, normally a manager - talking with a customer while looking over at me and did not come over once. The other people that came in after me to sit down (3 groups) were not sat right away. They were waiting about 6 minutes before the hostess came up to the counter.
I know it’s a long review and I’m not trying to ruin anybody’s day who works there but damn, getting more help would be great but I know that’s not always possible. I’ve had great experiences there dining in but to-go, like I said previously, has been below average to other places in town.
It’s been an issue for awhile and I get stuff happens but it’s a constant problem with food and sauces being wrong. Each food ticket is correct, the ones that are on the bag so I don’t know who’s at fault. It’s not the biggest deal to ask for what you need (sauce-wise) but multiple food orders missing something or being completely incorrect is...
Read moreThis the worst place EVER! We went there on a Monday at 4pm the place was pretty empty witch I really appreciated. I stood at the hostess desk for 10 minutes before anyone notice that was there, as other people started coming in, the hostess seated them first when I brought to the hostess attention that me and my two children have been standing there for 10 minutes, she did not apologize but offering us a seat that was my first issue.
We were seated behind a drink station which was dirty with a garbage can filled with garbage our waitress was dirty, and another waitress who was serving the family across from us was sick I asked her if she's okay she said she wasn't feeling well and her manager wouldn't let her go home that was my second issue.
I wanted to leave then but my kids are hungry and it was after a game. After we ordered our food I asked for bottomless fries which never came by the time she brought her food out she brought the bottomless fries out when I ask what took so long for the Fry's she said to me that they normally don't bring them out before your dinner (which was not true) I told herI never heard of that I asked her to take the fries away because we already had our dinner she did not.
She never returned to our table to ask if we were okay, she did not tell a manager, we ate our food which was cold and we got up to leave the manager Kelley look over at us and asked if everything was ok? (only because he heard me ask the hostess who the manager was) I said to him you look over at us three times and you did not approache us once!!! You only ask if we were okay after you heard me ask who was the manager? Now your wanting to know about my experience!!! I said to him politely we will not be returning he walked away and said nothing.
I do not recommend this restaurant the bathrooms were dirty the staff was looked dirty and the manager had no idea what was going on nor did the manager whose name...
Read moreTook my 87 year old mother to the Wilsonville location yesterday evening for a burger. We walked in & there was no one to great us. Waited 3-5 min for the hostess (a guy) he returned & left multiple times, I have no idea why, then argued about where to seat us. I asked to be seated somewhere that was a little quieter, where the music wasn’t so loud because my mother doesn’t hear very well and he rolled his eyes left again and returned to ask us to follow him Clear to the other side of the restaurant where he tried to see us at a spot where there was no window and a post. Likely the worst seat in the house I told him I didn’t wanna sit there and that this wasn’t going to work for my mom and he was quite rude again, so I finally just sat down at a little table that was nearby because my mother could no longer be up on her feet. By this time it had been between 10 and 12 minutes since we walked through the front door when we sat down, he told us that we couldn’t sit there because he didn’t have a server for that table, stating that he would go and see if he could find anyone that was to service us. My mother was angry, uncomfortable, and irritated by the way we were treated and asked to get up and leave before we even ordered. She’s 87 years old and I’ve never ever known her to do that but I concurred. We got up, walked clear the other side of the restaurant and out the door and back to our car. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant and I will never return. So does that hostess (a guy), Shame on you for being so disrespectful to an elder. I own restaurants and I tell you if I own that one I would’ve handed you your walking paper papers at that moment. ...
