Let me start off by stating CPR in Winder is AWESOME!!!!!!! Corliss Adams goes above and beyond to help in any way possible.
Long story short, my daughter needed a display replaced on her iphone 14 Pro Max, we got a cpl of quotes around Winder; one of them being Techy Company located in Winder Walmart. BIG MISTAKE !! We had the screen replaced by them on a Tues, had issues the next day with it. After my daughter went up there she was told there was nothing they could do. The next day her screen was not responding to anything; to top it off later in the day the screen went completely black. Useless. That night I also called Techy to bring it back, over the phone they said bring it up here they would fix it. We went back up there on a Friday, the sales associate started off by basically accusing my daughter of dropping it. Which did not happen. Once she took the phone apart, she pointed out a small imperfection on the bottom side of the phone. (after taking it apart). Not before, let's be clear on that. I asked her what could be done, she said I would have to pay $99.00 for labor. WHAT??? I told her that is not an option, she claimed because of the small imperfection, the company would not accept it back under warranty. So basically, her mistakes by taking off the screen I was having to pay more $$ on top of the $270 I was out already. NOPE Not Happening.
MY daughter and I visited CPR in Winder, where we should have gone in the 1st place. Corliss was extremely helpful, he fixed her phone, and explained the whole process. After he had the old screen off ,from Techy he said there was no way the dent/scratch could have not been our fault because after a closer look at it, it was in between the screen display. Only could have happened by Techy taking it off.

Read moreMy original post was 1 star, I had not used the service but called for a price on replacement of my screen and digitizer for Moto E (120.00 phone brand new) and was quoted 75.00 max for the replacement. I already own the brand new parts so it was a little labor and tools. I felt that was incredibly high for already owning the parts, and didn't understand how they were so highly rated with those kind of prices. But I received a call some time after I posted the review, from Kimberly. I was absolutely shocked that the business owners cared enough to call. She indicated that the cost could vary depending on the condition of the phone. I explained that I already own the screen and didn't need a part, now they do not use parts from other stores, she explained that they couldn't garuntee the work if it wasn't a part they had not ordered, I understand that because some of these places sell absolute junk, so 75 max for a complete replacement is a good price. However, I do use a reputable company and pay good money for my parts, but I do get why it's a risk for them if they garuntee the work. Kimberly kindly offered to donate the right tools I needed for no charge. Wow. That's incredible. I can see why they are so highly rated. I will be checking it out in the future. Read moreI came to have my switch fixed that had a common charging issue and they told me it was going to have a two week delay because they had to send the device off. I waited for a call about my device for 4 weeks and magically the day i call is they that they heard back that it was unable to be repaired and that my device would be sent back so i could pick it up. How convenient they couldn't fix the moment i called while there is a national shortages of these devices. Then i am hounded multiple times to come pick the device and up and behold that i also have to pay $50 for a device that could not be fixed. Was i informed that there would still be a charge for a device they could fix? No i was not. This not to mention the poor customer service I received when I initially dropped of the device. They were out to lunch and set to return according to there sign at 2 pm when i arrived at 1:30 pm. I then returned at 2 pm. and they still didn't return. Not usually a big deal but 2:25 pm? oh well hand wave that if at least the in person customer service didn't seem as though the employee did act like he was upset to have to help anyone anyone who came into the store. I will never use this repair place again because of poor service, shady business dealings, and inability to communicate prices for services even when they can not provide...
