If you are WHITE do not go in this store. ANTHONY the manager is unprofessional and racist. I've been going to this store for years with no problem, ever. I'm 8 months pregnant so this is really the treatment I needed today. It started when he was rude when I spoke to him about the "ride home" when u spend a certain amount of money, he wouldn't even turn to speak to me. Then in Spanish approached my cashier saying I was trying to take the potatoes that were under my cart (already had a PAID sticker on it). So I told her she scanned it already, she charged me again then upon checking my receipt had to refund my money. They thought I couldn't understand Spanish and repeatedly spoke bad about me trying to steal then didn't apologize for being wrong. So when I was leaving I approached and told him and the other girl involved that Im not a thief and was offended but was ready for the ride home. He let me stand and wait before he let me know it would be 5 more min (smiling and being cocky the entire time). I asked him why he had a problem w me and what it was i had done to make him treat me the way he was. He waited till my (black, another reason i was treated bad) husband walked away to return the cart inside.. And approached me inside the van, yelling at me that a ride (advertised) is a favor to me. I asked him his name and he continued yelling and speaking down to me. The girl (black) he sent out at first to drive, because the man wasn't ready, was extremely rude to my husband and I, she clearly had a problem with us.. Again, NEVER had a problem at this store for years.. Again 8 months pregnant being treated like this...

Huge huge variety of food s. they're kind on the expensive side but then again they're bringing it in from out of town etc but it is very interesting store and it's actually a cultural experience to go there. About a year ago I bought some mini bananas and turns out that they were rotting from the inside out and I took them to the store and they refused to replace them and the manager was actually quite rude and he implied that I had left them in the car or something which was not the truth... But if he had looked at them he would have realized that they truly were picked too soon. So that particular manager was very rude I don't know of any other manager isn't that way but that particular manager was very rude and he kind of acted like he was doing us a favor by being there at the store. So if you buy something make sure that the fruit is good condition before you take anything home because I don't think that they really believe in customer service. If you can speak Spanish than this store is for you. Overall, it's a semi-clean store, it is not that good at being laid out as far as isle space or the amounts of items that the employees or management tells them to put out. The staff isn't very helpful and can barely speak English or at least pretend not to if you ask questions. Could have been just the ones I've spoken to at that time.

The bathroom's are very dirty inside, the door barely locks, the sink is never cleaned well. They do have a good variety of product as one can imagine, some products are not seen in regular stores. They have a jewelry section as soon as you walk in that shouldn't be there but whatever as well as a cell phone cover and other products when you leave taking up space.

Depending on what you buy, you can save or spend some money, their meat department is cheaper but also questionable, looks like the meat market in Winston Salem. What I mean is the countertop and display is dirty and not much looks like it is up to standards as well as their bakery. I won't buy those products...
