I havent seen a hair stylist in over 10 years and I've been so used to cutting my own hair, but after considering a change in style, I wanted to go to someone I trusted, or at least a recommendation from a friend. My friend and her sister come to this specific location and they both recommended me to come here since they are both picky, but seem to really like this location of Dino Palmieri, so I trusted them and went through with making a phone call.
I first called on July 22nd and spoke to Heather* (I believe) about a potential appointment. I just had questions regarding what specifically I wanted to have done (perm) and if it was possible at this location. I was told that there was one stylist that does that type of service named Natalia* and that she wouldn't be in until around 12 noon, but that if I left my name and phone number, they would get back to me around 1pm. After not receiving a call that day nor the following day, I attempted a follow-up call on Friday the 24th and spoke to a different representative (whose name I cannot recall) and let her know that I was waiting for a response from either Heather or Natalia, but neither had contacted me. I was a bit anxious but wasn't upset because life happens, so I wanted to give benefit of the doubt. The representative then let me know that neither of them were there at the moment, but that she would make sure that if they don't get back to me by end of day that day, they would for sure get back to me by the next day (Saturday).
I waited throughout the weekend up until today, Tuesday July 28th and I haven't received any type of follow-up. If the service really can't be done, I understand, but for a potential client to wait a week or possibly more (after tomorrow) just for that answer is quite disappointing. I appreciate honest and open communication, but it seems like I received the run-around. I'm sure the stylists are great at what they do, and based off of my friend's personal testimony, they must be great -however it's disappointing that the basic foundation of communicating with a potential client was not present in my experience. Who is to say this does not and will not happen to other potential clients? Should I still expect to be followed up with, or am I left to have to call for a third time? I mean no malice, these are honest questions and concerns from my personal experience that I hope can be answered -not even just for me, but also for those who are considering this location and trusting the ethics and etiquette of the stylist/establishment they seek...
Read moreI don’t remember the lady who did my hair. But I wanted my whole head 1 color and she said she can’t do it but she can do a balayage. She started doing my hair and then told me it would cost 300. My hair is up to my shoulders so pretty short. I told her I’ve gotten balayage done before here and never paid 300 and my hair length was almost up to my hips then. She then preceded to tell me you know inflation so prices are up and so I told her I’m not paying that much. She got quite (literally didn’t say a word) started rushing my hair, and I mean moving really really fast. I even told her it feels like your moving pretty fast now and she was like “well now I’m doing it differently”. She was rude. And did a bad balayage job. Safe to say I’m never...
Read moreThe Dino Palmieri Salon & Spa at Eton was fantastic for my wedding hair. My sisters and I all got our updos at the salon and we were so happy with our stylists! I did a trial run for my hair and Melanie was fast and efficient and knew just what I wanted. I was so happy with the final product and with her service. Thank you for accommodating all of us drinking champagne and having a great time at the salon! I would highly recommend them for an elegant updo, half-up, or even just a blowout. They do...
