If you have uncontrolled diabetes with an A1c of 9, or higher DO NOT go to this clinic. They will NOT help you. They cannot even refill your medication. What kind of ādiabetes managementā is that, if they refuse to assist patients who are clearly uncontrolled and in urgent need of care?
I went to MinuteClinic after being told during an online video visit that they could help me with my diabetes management if I came in person. Unfortunately, that was NOT true. I showed up with my most recent labs (A1c 10.7, showing uncontrolled diabetes), and the provider told me she could not do anything to help because it was āoutside of her scope.ā She didnāt even address my medication dosing, and instead told me to go somewhere else.
Even worse, my visit record said I did not show up, when in fact I did the issue was not me, but that she refused to help. The website says they provide diabetes management, but in reality, they cannot do anything for patients with uncontrolled diabetes, even if your numbers are dangerously high.

The asked if it was current and I advised no and update my current number. When the prescription was ready they called my parents number to notify. I called the pharmacy to correct this and was on hold for quite a few minutes prior to phone being picked up. When it was picked up they must've placed me right back on hold before and then was hung up on prior to even getting a "hello". After calling yet again and finally getting a chance to explain the issues I experienced, they offered no apology or even acknowledgement of the events advised my prescription was ready and if I had my insurance card on me....
