This was my first experience buying furniture for myself and I wanted to make sure I made the right investments.
I saw from google reviews than Raymour and Flanagan had a solid reputation so I decided to give them a shot. Went in and spoke with Josh and let him know what my price range was and what I was hoping to find.
Josh spent at least a solid hour with me asking me questions about what I may be interested in as well as inquiring about some sleep habits to best help find me a good mattress. After trying a few we landed on one I felt extremely happy with. After that, he showed me a few couches and I ended up loving the very first he showed. All in all Josh was an outstanding communicator, never made me feel any pressure, never made me feel rushed and always came off as a extremely polite with a knack for listening well to the customer. Payment and signing was a breeze, delivery was a few days later.
Delivery process went well enough, however there was an issue fitting the bed frame through my home. As there was nothing specifically stating that if a frame could not physically be navigated through a home that a customer should have to pay for a different/exchanged product, I was fortunate enough to have that cost waived with some light persistence with the store manager, & am noting here that I very much appreciate that they chose to make it right and waive the cost, as I had already spent a good deal of money and had a great experience up until that point with both Josh and the delivery men who were also very polite and Communicative, as well as fast and Efficient.
After my 30 day trial, I realized that I needed something a bit softer (no fault of Joshâs- it was purely a matter of my body needing something a bit more soft in the long run), so I contacted Josh and requested we do a reselect. The reselect process involves me working with a manager/supervisor named David. David was just as helpful, communicative, receptive, informative and all around as much of a joy to work with as Josh was. Never once did I feel pressure Or any kind of guilt for needing a reselect, nor did I feel rushed the second time around.
Along with helping me find a mattress that would be better suited for me, he also helped me get store credit with my exchange (as the new mattress I selected was significantly less than the original and by their practice, I was informed they donât typically do a reselect if itâs significantly less than the original).
With the remaining credit, he also helped Me get fitted for a new pillow.
All in all, my experience with R&F was a very positive one- itâs very clear that the people working there have the customers best interests and comforts in mind when helping them, & I highly recommend anyone looking to buy stop in and let either Josh or David assist you. They will no doubt make The experience both an easy and...

When I changed the fabric on my chair, my delivery address was entered into the system incorrectly. I narrowly avoided a big mishap because I checked my confirmation email thoroughly, thank goodness.
I am very displeased with how I was treated over the phone, as if I was making up a delivery date and time. I waited all day by my phone today expecting a call to notify me of the next day's delivery time (as was instructed when I called to schedule delivery), but I eventually had to call the store to confirm my next day delivery time because I had not heard from them, and it was nearing the end of the day. Not only was the date not scheduled in the system, there apparently was no record of my call and scheduling over the phone at all ! I had just spoken with a woman on the phone the day I had been notified of my chair's arrival at the warehouse (the 13th). I had even scheduled to have my parents come visit to help me with moving the chair I ordered into the house (I was not corrected when I asked if I would need someone to help me bring the chair inside). Not only are my parents inconvenienced, but I am paying good money to be inconvenienced once more and have the chair delivered to my house this time. I requested a confirmation email of my 'new' delivery date to make sure the same mishap did not occur again. If it does, I will be even more disappointed. All in all, the shipping frustration was not worth the 'convenience cost' at all....
The furniture is beautiful and seems to be of good quality. The delivery men were the highlight of the experience. However everything about the shopping and purchasing experience was awful at the Wyomissing, PA store! The sales lady was not very friendly, she seemed to be annoyed to be at work- the store just reopened. I went and looked around but wanted to take my husband back to make sure he also liked it. Her attitude was off putting so we wanted to look elsewhere and had much better experiences at the 2 other stores we went to but bottom line Raymour and Flanigan had what we wanted so we returned and picked out two rooms full of furniture and told her we were going to think it over for a couple of days as we didnât want to make a rash decision. We asked for a quote so we can think it over. We had to go to another counter to get it printed- the 2 women working there were fussing amongst themselves which was uncomfortable. After talking it over we decided that Monday after work I would go in and place the order and pay. Turns out the quote was all wrong, by a couch- so there was nearly a $1000 difference it what I had to pay as what I was expecting. No apology not even an acknowledgement of the mistake- just more blaaahhhh coming from the sales lady. I decided to just let it go as I got the furniture I wanted. On my way out a young worker (not a salesperson as he was dressed in shorts) was leaving and the manager called him out questioning what time he was scheduled to etc, it became uncomfortable, not a conversation to have in the lobby near the front door. An overall VERY...
