I would say, it’s a place you must visit at least once. They offer there: great selection of cheeses some types of ham loads of vegetables & fruits (including for ex Kaki; Brazilian guava - feijoa) Eggs Fresh meet and chicken and fish (you can judge how fresh it is by looking on it - the locals did buy fresh meet from these mini-wan with a refrigerator; I didn’t dare yet).
Eggs were great but quite expensive- the cheapest price was 150 pesos for 15 🥚 Fruit and vege is much cheaper than in the most supermarkets. It works as follows: You come to a stand, take a plastic bag, put your stuff in their and give it to a man/woman. They put it on a scale and enter a price per kilo and write down the result (the price for your amount). Then they take your next packed bag with vege/fruits and enter the price per kilo and write down on a paper the price for your amount. Then they count it in front of you on this piece of paper and give it to you, they show you the direction to the CAJA - the stand where you pay.
One thing you should be aware of is the “hospitality” - most of sellers are really relaxed, friendly and helpful, but some might get very annoyed if you don’t understand why is the price so high or you want to see how many grams it was and the seller didn’t show it to you). Be ready to be slightly ripped off - 10/20% of the weight their scales are showing might be manipulated or they write down the price tooo quickly so you didn’t have a chance...

The major market day is Saturday, when a range of food, clothing, jewelry, household products and other vendors have their goods on display/for sale. On Tuesdays, mostly food vendors show up (farm produce, cheese, meat, fish, etc.). The feria is probably not as attractive a tourist destination as it is a valuable community resource for fresh produce and a range of products that are regularly purchased and consumed. The Park offers a delightful playground for young children; benches and other seating just to enjoy the outdoors; and nearby cafes (Alegria Cafe on Vazquez Ledesma; Oro del Rhin and Martinez on the corner of Berro and 21 de Septiembre;...
