The neighborhood is both residential and commercial, so it is a very busy area, yet it is not noisy. Many places to eat nearby, banks as well, bus stops. Punta Carretas Shopping is about 800 meters away. The hotel was opened last December. The staff is friendly and effective. Breakfast (included in the daily rate) consists chiefly of pastries, croissants, toasts. If you bring your car, you can park it at the hotel covered parking (at a reasonable rate of U$S 10 per day) or, if there are empty spaces, you can also park for free at the hotel's doorstep (which I did). I stayed for three nights, since March 24 to March 27. My room # was 452. The room is a bit small, specially short is the gap between the bed and the wall where the TV set is hanging from.
