ibis Styles Montevideo Biarritz — Hotel in Montevideo

The neighborhood is both residential and commercial, so it is a very busy area, yet it is not noisy. Many places to eat nearby, banks as well, bus stops. Punta Carretas Shopping is about 800 meters away. The hotel was opened last December. The staff is friendly and effective. Breakfast (included in the daily rate) consists chiefly of pastries, croissants, toasts. If you bring your car, you can park it at the hotel covered parking (at a reasonable rate of U$S 10 per day) or, if there are empty spaces, you can also park for free at the hotel's doorstep (which I did). I stayed for three nights, since March 24 to March 27. My room # was 452. The room is a bit small, specially short is the gap between the bed and the wall where the TV set is hanging from. The telephone should be placed not where it is now (at the desk) but on one of the bedsides. Otherwise it is not handy if you are in bed. The bathroom is fine. Everything...

Excellent new hôtel in the heart of Montevideo. The rooms are spot on clean and spacious, the location is so central, next to the shops and the beach, the food is excellent. Most importantly the staff is incredibly helpful, friendly and amazing, they will go miles out of their way to make sure you have a good stay. I’m a platinum Accor hotel member and usually spend about 90 nights per year in Accor properties, this is by far what I would rank as the best value for money you can get in the country!...
