The most disgusting place! There are no locks or latches on the door and the window. You just press the handle and the door opens. You can't feel safe there, you can't leave things there. The roof of the other building is near. Anyone can sneak and steal your things. I was afraid. And left that place. Of course, the sum I paid was not refundable. The receptionist told me, we let you know. If they didn't, so I ask you, dear Booking com, to check such places. You should require and give money back to a client, even if they write it's impossible. That's not a good deal.

Budget accommodation in the city. I stayed here during the Sydney Running Festival. A short walk and 2 or 3 trains tops from the start and half hour walk back. Room was small but comfortable bed good heater and fan and enough room for my suite case. A couple of bathrooms on each floor, old but cleaned daily. Friendly staff and free WiFi in the common room. Suited what I was looking for and would stay again.

I like that it is quite here during nights and the bathroom is private. The price is very affordable and the room is clean. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about communal kitchen. It is a bit messy.

These guys are amazing, they store your luggage worth over $3,000 - because everything was purchased new as we stayed unexpectedly longer then we were anticipating.

Then they allow an unknown ice addict to enter the staff only storage room (only staff have a key to this place and it’s locked within another locked room - so that’s two keyed entries) they allow this guy to go in and simply select whatever luggage he wanted out of the storage area!

Better still - the police were unable to identify this guy , because even though there was a requirement to have formal registration of all guests at any and every hotel over the Covoid lockdown period, this ice addict (of which most persons staying here unfortunately are) has entered the premises under a presumed identity and was not required to show any proof or ID about who he was!

Thank god no one got murdered - if you wanted to get away with any criminal activity, this would be the place to go...also they conspire to remove a guest , when said guest asks for compensation for loss of luggage, which they are clearly are libel for, instead they offer me three nights accommodation??? Haha and they conspire to generate defamatory and libellous accounts about your person after I declined their offer...which is extremely funny and sad because I was possibly (aside from the elderly woman resident at the ppty) the only person who has never, ever smoked or injected drugs of any sort or shape and form at that property....

Overall a disgusting and disgraceful place, the manager should be removed, the owner should be sanctioned and vetted by police as suitable to run a business such as this- because innocent people could get hurt, my luggage is replaceable but human life is not.

As a follow up - the police found the person of interest he was prosecuted and found guilty ...I wonder when this organisation will have the same treatment meted out.

Am I afraid to write this ? - you...

Fine for a tight budget I guess. Small rooms, ours didn't have a proper closet, wifi doesn't reach any room (you have to use it inside an "office" open just a few hours per day and it really sucks, i had to use my phone every time), also you have very little room to storage food (per room you are allowed to use one reusable bag in the fridge and anotherone in the kitchen, at least not enough for two people) and it was hot in summer. You can see cockroaches from time to time, we got stole more than once, but always small stuff from our food bags and is usually loud on weekends. They vacuum your room and change towels once a week, wich is nice and the location is great, very well conected and bunch of stuff to do.

We got to meet some awesome people, but the manager can be rude some times, and tries to charge you a $50 fee every time he's got the chance, and at least last summer the whole place had a bedbugs problem, but their answer was always the same... and only once you got bites all over your body, they would fumigate your room (I found out that problem its not new, and affected a...

Please DO NOT stay here. Most of homeless people tried to go inside. I booked for 2nights. And i got e-mail of check in time. They said i should check in until 4pm, but if i will check in after 4pm, I have to use own password that i got e-mail. So I decided to go after 4pm. Then when we tried to check in. The password wasn’t working. And finally I followed the person who stayed in the hotel. Then i met one of the staff. I said i wanna check in now. But she answered just okay hang on. Then she was playing her phone. I just stand for 10mins in front of her. Then she was suddenly disappeared. After that some stranger who is drunken tried to yell to me. And I decided to go out. It was so horrible and terrible. Hey Staff. If you cannot accept the check in after 4pm. Just say don’t come after 4pm.

I tried to get refund. But the george street hotel staff denied the refund. Because we was no show. Thank you for wonderful experience....
