I really only go here for the photobooths! They’ve been around for ages, and I enjoy using them because of that nostalgic feeling of adding cheesy decorations to photos. I don’t know if it was because of the photobooth I used but I don’t remember the photobooths having so much customisation available — made the experience a whole lot more fun!
I don’t really remember the price being as high as $13 — but reflecting on it now, it seems a fair price for the amount of customisation, how many photos you take, instant printing of photos (which can be further used as stickers!) — so no complaints, other than I just hope they get a quick clean on the interior especially because of Covid-19 :)
Claw machines are a bit scam-y though, but I guess that’s all part of the fun in losing a couple coins to them. Furthermore, the place is very cutesy — perfect for photo opportunities — just make sure you have someone with you that can take decent photos or do...
Read moreSCAM ARCADE. The workers leave their sitting post so they indirectly push you to use the notes exchange machine. I put it $20 note and got only $19 (each $1 coins). I searched for a staff to seek assistance about it and finally a woman who has been watching me for a while, came to me and handed me my $1 saying “oh you left this in the machine” (turned out then the lady was a staff but she is dressed in casual clothes). But i know for sure i didn’t leave the $1 in cuz i stayed for 5min infront of the exchange machine and counted 5x my change and looked in the machine before seeking help. I realised the next fella using the exchange machine, turned out he also got $1 coin less than he should have. Later on, i realised that the lady/ the workers are working together to scam people of $1 each time, esp for those who put their $20 notes in but dont count their money. Just be CAREFUL OF THE STAFF AND EXCHANGE...
Read moreWe had the worst dining experience ever tonight at passionflower. My partner accidentally broke a glass towards the end of the meal. (The empty glass fell over on the table, not on the floor) The waiter immediately took the debris away. My partner and I initially praised the waiter for the thoughtful act. However our perception towards the restaurant changed completely when we saw an item "broken glasses" of 10 dollars on our bill. We were disgusted by it as we were not informed of such "penalty" verbally at all. We'd be more than happy to pay for the damage if we were properly informed of passionflower'so policy. Unfortunately we were told nothing until I saw the bill at the counter. Oh well, thank you passionflower. I will never ever visit you...
