I recently had the pleasure of visiting Scurphy Murphy Bar in Sydney, NSW, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the evening.

The bar itself had a cozy yet vibrant ambiance, with dim lighting, comfortable seating, and a well-stocked bar showcasing an impressive selection of drinks. The decor was tastefully done, with a combination of rustic elements and modern touches that added to the overall charm of the place.

One of the highlights of Scurphy Murphy Bar was their extensive drink menu. Whether you're a fan of classic cocktails, craft beers, or fine wines, they had something to cater to every palate. The bartenders were skilled and knowledgeable, and their attention to detail in crafting the drinks was evident. I particularly enjoyed their signature cocktails, which were expertly balanced and bursting with flavor.

Another aspect that stood out was the exceptional service provided by the staff. The team at Scurphy Murphy Bar was friendly, attentive, and well-informed about the menu offerings. They took the time to engage with customers, making sure everyone felt comfortable and had a memorable experience. The wait times for drinks were minimal, even during peak hours, which was impressive considering the bar's popularity.

Furthermore, Scurphy Murphy Bar also offered a delectable food menu to complement their drinks. The selection was diverse, ranging from tasty bar snacks to hearty meals. I tried their share plates, and each dish was beautifully presented and packed with delicious flavors. The portions were generous, making it ideal for sharing with friends or enjoying as a full meal.

One thing worth mentioning is the live entertainment at Scurphy Murphy Bar. On the night of my visit, there was a talented musician performing live, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. It created a lively and enjoyable backdrop for the evening, enhancing the overall experience.

In terms of pricing, Scurphy Murphy Bar offers good value for money considering the quality of the drinks, food, and service. While it may not be the cheapest option in town, the overall experience justifies the cost, and it's a great place to treat yourself or celebrate a special occasion.

Overall, my visit to Scurphy Murphy Bar was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of a welcoming atmosphere, exceptional drinks, delicious food, attentive service, and live entertainment made it a memorable evening. I would highly recommend this bar to anyone looking for a great spot in Sydney to relax, unwind, and indulge in a delightful...

Came here last weekend with friends to watch the All-Ireland final, which started at 00:30. We arrived early at 7:00pm to secure a good seat and table, which we did. Around 8:00pm, we noticed staff relocating the people sitting in front of us. Just to be safe, we asked three different staff members if we also needed to move. Each of them reassured us that we were fine where we were and wouldn’t be asked to move later. We even said we were happy to move then if needed, as other seats were still available — but again, we were told it wasn’t necessary.

Fast forward a few hours, and just as the place started getting busy and we had received our food, security came over and told us we had to move immediately, as per management. We explained that we’d been there since 7:00pm and had checked with multiple staff earlier, but they didn’t seem to care. Meanwhile, the people in front of us (who had only arrived about an hour earlier) weren’t told to move at all.

We were relocated to a tiny table where only three of our friends could sit, and by the time we moved everything over, our food was cold and the atmosphere was completely ruined.

Overall, a terrible experience. There was clearly zero communication between staff, and it made us feel disrespected...

I have never been treated with such disrespect and unprofessionalism. The security guard's behavior was beyond unacceptable, characterized by unwarranted aggression, gross misconduct, and a complete disregard for basic human decency. This is not just an isolated incident of rudeness; it was an outright abuse of power that left me feeling violated and deeply disturbed.

The guard's actions were not only unprovoked but also escalated without cause, leading to an experience that was both humiliating and frightening. I am left questioning whether this incident was motivated by racial bias or if it was a sheer abuse of power. Either way, such behavior is inexcusable and indicates a severe lapse in the standards of conduct expected from individuals entrusted with public safety and security.

The severity of this incident demands immediate and thorough investigation to determine the underlying motives and prevent such egregious actions from recurring. I urge the relevant authorities and the security company to take swift and decisive action to address this issue and ensure that no one else has to endure the kind of mistreatment and indignity that I...

I visited on a quiet Sunday evening because I had seen the "Sunday roast" advertised. Upstairs was deserted. The floor was sticky. I mean, really sticky. My shoes stuck to the floor and every step sounded like ripping off a bandage. The table was sticky too. I tried to minimise any of my stuff touching it. Fortunately the bench seat I sat on was not sticky. The roast was ... well, I've had worse. The meat was okay, so long as I didn't let it touch the "guinness gravy", which tasted more like terikayi sauce. The yorkshire pudding was the best part of the meal. Next time I want a roast I will go somewhere else, somewhere my shoes aren't likely to come off as I walk.

$20 for a delicious well cooked rump steak, chips and salad - honestly it’s unbeatable value and the steak is more tender and flavourful than some far more expensive steakhouses. Music is loud enough but not overwhelming - can hear conversations clearly. Service speed is very hit or miss, sometimes comes out quick, other times extremely slow - order via the QR code while dining upstairs and I’m supposed to wait for drinks to come from downstairs despite a bar also being same level? Does the app not connect with upstairs? Rather odd. Also floor upstairs feels quick sticky so better beware of that. Overall very good.

Nice place cool music. We got to put photos on our Guinness which was a 10/10 amazing, but… We came here on a Thursday and I got my mate a drink which he accidentally spilled at the bar in a second. He wasn’t drunk. The bartender, where I got a bunch of drinks, then decided to charge us again for a whole pint of Guinness, whereas in a proper Irish bar or any bar they would have given us a free pint or at least a shot. She was also quite rude about it. The bartender said it is against the law to give us a free drink which is obviously not true. Very unfortunate and bad service.
