Heritage Hotel - Stockler House — Hotel in Hallstatt

Great hotel with amazing view. We stayed on the very top floor and had a beautiful balcony. The room was very nice and updated. There is WiFi but no elevator. I really loved my stay here and would come back again.

Cars are not allowed so you have to park off-site in P1. Don't make the mistake of "taking a nice walk to check in first before taking the shuttle to get the luggage". After checking in, I was told I could no longer use the shuttle to transport my luggage since it is only for check in and check out, even if I walked back to the parking lot! That ended up not being a big deal for me but I can see that being a problem for someone with a lot of luggage. Great room up high looking out over the water and mountains. I only had time for one day here during my tour of Austria and i regret not staying longer. I could have used a few days of just relaxation in this beautiful town, sadly there are way too many pop-in-pop-out tourists. The local shop owners are all really nice when shown decency and respect. Wonderful hotel, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Wifi in the rooms. We were told the building was over 500 years old. The interior is quite new. Staff is wonderful and very helpful. No out of town cars are allowed in this section of town so you need to take the shuttle to the main hotel and the staff can help you with your bags or take them on your own.
