‼️ Avoid this apartment during summer ‼️

We stayed here as a family in Room 3 for six nights. While the owner will likely point out that the website “clearly states” the conditions, I cannot recall seeing anywhere – on their site or on the booking platform – that this apartment becomes an absolute hell in August 🥵

The building is on the corner of two very noisy roads and gets full sunlight all day. There are no blackout curtains in the living room and only small ones in the other rooms. There is no air conditioning, just weak fans, so even with the windows closed, the heat inside is unbearable.

Opening the windows is hardly a solution. The street below is heavily trafficked, with hundreds of cars and loud tourists passing by – even at 2 to 4 AM!! – creating the worst kind of holiday soundtrack.

If you plan to come here with family, I suggest you think again. The apartment is well equipped and the photos are accurate, but the heat and noise simply “killed the dream” (how poetic that we came here to see Macbeth).

On top of this, they charge €65 for cleaning yet still expect guests to clean the apartment before departure. Sure… I can bring some blackout curtains myself next time, too.

Overall, a massively negative experience – especially considering we paid over €3,000...

Rooms are located at the intersection of 2 busy roads. This is not a hotel, there is no lobby, no interaction with staff...more like an Air bnb. We were there when it was warm. The windows could be opened but the traffic noise was oppressive. The location is on 2 different bus routes to get you into town or it's a fair walk to get there. There is a restaurant for dinner and a great breakfast place near by but nothing else. The rooms were fancy. We would have preferred a place to stay that was within town with a selection of cafes that would have allowed us to experience Salzburg without having to bus or walk 20 mins to get there. The location of this place was in a newer section of town that did not have the Salzburg vibe. Over priced...

My wife handled the $ so I don't know about the pricing/reasonableness but it was a great place for our group: 5 adults and 5 kids. We were able to walk to many places and public transportation very easy. Everything was very clean and new. Bathrooms were pretty fancy. FYI of you're interested in plugging a device into the TV via HDMI, it's not possible due to how the TV's...
