Horrible Experience at Steakout Restaurant We received one of the worst food and service from Steakout last night. We were 19 people and visited them for iftar from our office. We placed the orders at around 5:40 PM. They could not serve us anything except water and welcome soup during iftar time. The restaurant served us our orders 15 minutes after iftar, and individual orders came in even at 6:55 PM for a few unlucky ones within ourselves. As the entire restaurant was packed, it is natural that they were struggling with managing orders; however, if we knew they would be so late and we would have to wait on an empty stomach after fasting for the entire day, we would not have visited the place at all. However, what happened while they served our food was beyond our imagination.
They had ongoing offers for two platters: Texan Hunter and The Notorious.
In 4-5 of our orders, the Braised Moroccan Chicken was smelly and raw while served. Of course, we had to return all of them, which they replaced; however, even a few changed dishes had issues and thus needed returning. 2 orders of The Notorious had tender beef steak, which was completely dry (one had hair in the food) and not tender at all. Upon asking, we found out that the steaks were cooked in the oven rather than regular grilling, which explains the dryness of the dish. The prime cut steak orders were alright but served 30 minutes after iftar time. If any restaurant cannot serve guests properly, they should not provide lucrative offers to lure people. The restaurant should have adequate staff to avoid such mishaps when the whole place is packed. Moreover, food should be provided to any customer which is undercooked or improper at any cost for...
Read moreLast evening, my colleagues and I ventured to Steakout Banani with high hopes for a memorable Iftar experience, only to be met with a culinary catastrophe that left a sour taste in our mouths—quite literally.
We eagerly anticipated breaking our fast with a spread of delectable dishes, but alas, our anticipation turned to disappointment as the clock ticked past Iftar time with no sign of our food. A tardy arrival, a staggering 10-12 minutes late, robbed us of the joy of timely indulgence.
When the dishes finally made their belated appearance, any semblance of excitement quickly dissipated. It was evident that our meals had endured a journey from kitchen to table that had left them limp, lackluster, and lamentably lacking in freshness. It was as if they had been hastily reheated for a mere two minutes before being unceremoniously plonked before us.
Now, let's talk about the pièce de résistance—or rather, the pièce de disappointing. The much-touted steak, a cornerstone of any respectable menu, was an unmitigated disaster. I found myself unable to muster the will to finish it, not due to satiation, but because the very thought of ingesting another morsel was utterly revolting. Tasteless, bland, and devoid of any discernible flavor profile, it was an insult to the very concept of gastronomy.
In sum, what should have been a feast for the senses turned out to be a farcical fiasco. Steakout may boast a reputation, claiming they "reinvented" the very concept of steak experience, but if my experience is anything to go by, it's one built on shaky ground and embellished with hollow promises. Save your taste buds—and your hard-earned cash—and steer clear of this culinary calamity.
My personal rating:...

We went to Steakout Banani for iftar, expecting a satisfying meal, but it turned out to be an absolute disaster. We ordered their so-called iftar platter, only to receive the smallest portions imaginable. The entire platter was barely the size of my palm, and the steaks? No bigger than my fingers. The rice portion was pathetic, leaving us still hungry after iftar, which defeats the entire purpose of an iftar meal. The photos on their menu made the food look big and filling, but in reality, it was a complete joke. One of my friends was so disappointed they literally shed tears.
As if the terrible food wasn’t bad enough, the staff scammed us. They randomly placed three glasses of Coke on our table without us ordering them. Naturally, we assumed they were part of the platter. But no—when the bill arrived, they sneakily charged us 130 TK per glass. 130 TK for a single glass of Coke we didn’t even ask for! This was nothing short of a cheap, disgusting trick to scam customers, and to do this during Ramadan is beyond shameful.
Steakout Banani is misleading, overpriced, and dishonest. If you want good food and fair service, stay far away from this place. We left unsatisfied, hungry, and cheated. 0/10 – NOT RECOMMENDED!
