I never leave bad reviews but wow was I shocked at the state of this place. I stayed one night in a single room for $27. The power kept going out every 10-15 minutes. As I was showering I showered in complete darkness. The air conditioner and lights kept going off in my room due to the power outage and it was 40 degrees Celsius. There is no attached bathroom/shower. There is one shower, one sink for the whole hotel and it is in a separate building (outdoor shack is more accurate). I thought maybe the electricity is just inconsistent in Cambodia but I have since stayed in 2 other hostels in siem reap for less than half the price with no issues. Read moreOne of the best options for budget tourists. It was situated right in the heart of the city, only 5 minutes away from the CBD and the pub street. Friendly staff, a cozy Asian style garden, and authentic Japanese cuisine at the restaurant indeed. The room was clean enough for a guest house.
Unfortunately, I must say that the water pressure was not strong enough and the wifi signal was weak sometimes. The latter one would happen anywhere in Cambodia if you stayed at guest houses or at 2–3 star hotels.
