We were with Judy & Gary in September 2023. Unique location right on the water with an outstanding view. Unfortunately, the weather didn't play along as we had hoped, so the planned whale watching tour had to be canceled. However, nature offered us an alternative, breathtaking scenario with waves crashing on the coast. Our hosts, especially Judy, deserve special mention. Attentive with lots of tips about possible activities in the area, creative breakfast like we had never experienced before. However, one negative point must also be mentioned. We were the penultimate guests to enjoy the hospitality in Ucluelet. Judy and Gary have decided to spend the rest of their lives away from the hospitality services. This is a bitter loss for all those who will no longer be able to experience this service. Last but not least, don't forget Buddy. The family dog of Judy & Gary. A real charmer that we would have loved to take with us. Judy, Gary and Buddy, thank you for a great time in Ucluelet, which felt like the end of the world. We would have loved to come back again........

What a shame we only saw this place in the pouring rain (3 days non stop - well it is rain forest!!)) and feeling rotten! We had only been in Canada 3 days and went down with 'flu the day before we arrived here for bear watching which sadly had to be cancelled as we felt just too ill to attempt it. We had the warmest of welcomes and the facilities are excellent - including a huge common room with seating (both soft and dining), use of a kitchenette, snooker table and many other forms of entertainment. The real jewels are both the beautiful bay view and Judy's warmth and excellent breakfasts. A maximum of 6 guests dine together at breakfast, and Judy is a great storyteller, bringing alive the local wildlife tales and making each guest feel so welcome. Beautiful Aveda and Beekind toiletries add to the luxury feel + it would have been wonderful to use the beach side table/chairs and the hot tub, both weather and health permitting!!

A little bit of Paradise at Bostrom's with an unbelievable view. With great food homemade by Judy (the owner) and a dining experience like no other as you look out onto the bay. The B&B also features a hot tub, pool table, dart board, and an espresso and coffee machine. If that wasn't enough the rooms are very comfortable and also have an amazing view. What's more, the amenities are the best I've used at any hotel/bed and breakfast. Overall, Bostrom's is the place to stay in Uclulet, a great experience for all.

This is a truly delightful place to stay in a beautiful corner of the world. Overlooking, indeed almost overhanging, Little Bay to the south; the peerless location and sublime outlook are complimented by tasteful, comfortable and well-managed lodgings all secreted in a boscage of coastal woods. ||||The good: we took the Trail Suite which is spacious, comfortable, stylish and well-appointed. The bathroom is modern and functional with bath linens that were plush and plentiful. The canopied queen bed was comfortable, the linens crisp and clean and the pillows cloud-soft. The décor is a tastefully eclectic coalition of woodland themes animated by charming artistic flourishes. Everything expected was there and it all worked as expected. There are plenty of power outlets around the suite and the included Wifi worked well on all our devices. ||The living space has a well-equipped kitchenette, dining table and comfortable lounging area which opens onto a spacious sheltered balcony complete with gas BBQ, hot tub and those sublime views across Little Bay. Breakfast taken in the B+B’s panoramic sunroom was a superior a la carte spread that cycled daily with sufficient variety that we never ceased to be surprised – and sated. ||For an extended stay, indifferent weather or those intent upon giving everything a run, the expansive and well-equipped communal areas both inside and outdoors provide resort-like amenities. Finally, Judy & Gary were hosts par excellence: welcoming, helpful and engaging but ever unobtrusive. || ||The not so good: we couldn’t...

Ditto … I could simply say Ditto!||....from our previous stays||||But I won’t.||||My wife and I feel welcome here….safe….at home.||That pretty well sums it up, doesn’t it?||||Judy and Gary are very special people to my wife and I.||…..Yes you too Buddy (the in-training B & B pooch)||||This place (surrounding area and community too) refreshes us….rejuvenates us…helps restore us.||||Sometimes we think this must be another country…but it’s not. ||It’s Canada and we are fortunate to live here and have this area as a part of our nation.||||We are reminded of that all the time by people we meet from all over the world at the breakfast table and around the property. ||||It’s one MAJOR reason we enjoy B & B’s.||||The people….||This trip we met people from Australia….UK…..Germany.....The Netherlands (two separate families) and yes even from Canada.||||Lovely!!|| ……and they all express in their own way how special this part of Canada is …. and this B & B in particular. The location....the amenities....the breakfasts!!!||||We wish for Judy and Gary nothing but good things and whatever decisions they make regarding their futures we know it will be the best for them.||||Thx from a couple of Prairie “kids” ||…. who when they leave you, are happy they were there!!||||Our very...

This was my second time staying at Bostrom’s B&B. The first time was 8 years ago with my husband and this time with a friend. I wanted to stay there again because of my memories of the stunning views, fabulous breakfasts and outstanding hospitality and was not disappointed The extraordinary stay started with an upgrade to the trail suite when they had a last minute cancellation. This was very appreciated as it enabled my friend and I to each have a comfortable sleeping bed ( one used the large sleep sofa). As others have stated this room is very spacious with a small kitchen, dining area and beautiful bathroom. Personally, my favourite thing about the space was the use of skylights. The view from every room and public space areas was as stunning as I remembered. The location is perfect for exploring trails and food options. Judy is the best host I’ve ever encountered (and I travel a lot), super friendly, helpful and entertaining during her gourmet breakfasts with stories and local native legends. I can’t wait to go back and nobody should ever hesitate...
