Ucluelet Community Centre — Local services in Ucluelet

Obscenely rude desk staff. Had to ask about where the bus stop was because the publicly available map says it is in the parking lot, lady at the desk cut me off twice and told me rudely to (1) just read the Rider's Guide (which has incorrect information and (2) it would be obvious if it just looked on the road about 200m away from where the bus stop is supposed to be. Considering what this community went through to get a bus service, you'd think they'd care more about people trying to use it. Sorry for inconveniencing the community for trying to use...

The faculties are clean and very busy. Lots happening at all times.

It seems to be severely understaffed. They seem to be running around dealing with many things all at once.

I've never been to a community centre that didn't have access to some kind of simple kitchen area. Either for a sink.. hot water or microwave. When asked for a microwave- I was told that some other group was using it. No offer to check to see if I could go into the area. The staff are stand offish. Again.. clearly under staffed.

It's a community centre... With no sense...

My three year old son and I went to the Halloween haunted house last night... What s blast! Kiddo loved it but thought it was too scary... He wants to go back next year when he's "braver". The kids putting it on looked to be having a great time. I just wish we made it in time for the pumpkin carving. The "pumpkins in the mist" was great. We went during daylight hours as it is supposed to get very scary. I particularly like the Sasquatch with the butcher knife hidden on the trail, as it surprised me. Don't miss it if they do...
