CasaDeTodos B&B Boutique — Hotel in Providencia

I booked this place via booking.com for a 3 days.|The communication from staff post booking was great including on WhatsApp which answered many of my questions and queries promptly.|I arranged airport pickup with hotel prior to arriving which was helpful.||The staff member when i arrived spoke great English and was most helpful with tourist suggestions and maps. Some of the other staff were friendly but didn't speak English so well. I used google translator and tried some Spanish and we got by.|One staff let me borrow their transport card for Metro system which was nice.||The location in Providencia is very safe. It is easy to walk everywhere and restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, station, pubs are all very close.||The facility has some seats and tables outside to sit and relax, the dining area is very spacious with many tables and even a couch and tv to sit and relax. Breakfast was good.|The place is secure with gate outside, but having to press bell to get in or look for staff at times can be a challenge if reception staff busy doing things like watering plants, in kitchen etc.||The rooms are quite good except there is no lift only a stairs. Inside the room all facilities are provided, mini fridge, A/C, TV etc. No water is given. Generally all was good but toilets could be cleaned better inside.||Overall a very good stay and happy to...

We have made a booking this morning at hotel Casa de Todos and when we arrived at the hotek at 22.00 in the evening we were told there was a mistake and that we cannot stay there. They tried to book another place but it was much more expensive and they were not willing to pay the taxi or the different of the other place even though it was their mistake that they didn't close the room online, on booking. O have worked many years at the reception myself and mistakes happen but it is hoteks responsibility to find and move the guests to another place and pay the taxi and the price difference if the other hotek is more expensive. We asked to talk to the manager or the boss to ask for help and they called but he didn't want to talk to us. I have never w oerienced such a bad service. It was unbeliveble. This is an overrated and overpriced B&B. The rooms are big, but not decorated at all. The bathroom look like a badly maintained bathroom in a hospital. From the pictures and the outside it look nice, but it has nothing to do with ‘boutique’, which is in its name. The worst thing is the internal noise. There is no door between the reception area and the stairs to the first floor where the rooms are. And it is all stone and wood. We heard everything during the evening and the night which was said in the reception area. We also heard people walking and talking in the corridor and we heard the water running of people who took a shower in the night (and again in the morning).
