We stayed about a week in this location, as we had to delay our arrival for our dates on the W Circuit in Torres del Paine National Park.
This location is a short walk to the bus terminal, several playgrounds, an ice cream shop, several restaurants and an amphitheater. This was an ‘out of downtown’ but central to most things location, which was good for us as a traveling family. On a longer walk you can explore the rest of the city. If you need any local tours, they can be arranged in the reception, including a free city tour.
On location there is a restaurant and laundry, which is super convenient and reasonably priced. They have a brand new sign! Bag storage is available of you have a bookends stay around trekking in the national park.

Most visitors while we were there stayed a few days, and this is reflective of the town itself which seems to have a transient tourist population on their way to or from the iconic national park.
Overall, this is an easy place to recommend as we had a good time in the area, an enjoyable stay, and it was within our limited budget.

The new room wasn’t on the pictures either and they switched off the heating, so we spent a really cold last night. |Also the free breakfast was a big disappointment. Ham and cheese were limited to one slice per guest. The rest was low quality or old. It was, however, possible to buy freshly baked goods in their own bakery. |Here a good experience will cost you lots of money.|See the pictures on Google maps for a...
