The perfect place to stay if you want great help and hospitality. Bill and everyone else at the hostel are so friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights before starting the w trek and Bill let us leave bags during the trip and even shower on our return. We rented equipment from him (older equipment but reliable and for a great price) for the trek and he gave us great insight into the trek itself. The hostel has everything you need to cook but it also very conveniently located to get to cafes and restaurants. Very close to the bus station. For us, it was the perfect place to stay and we would definitely stay again if visiting Puerto Natales...
Read moreMe and my wife came to Hostel Erratic Rock to get some advice on the W Trek from Bill the owner, we were warmly greeted and welcomed in. We were able to ask any questions we needed and it really helped settle any nerves about the trek, we also rented sleeping bags and hiking poles at a very affordable price. We looked around the hostel as was going to stay a night and it looked very clean and comfortable, unfortunately we had to leave early so were not able to stay but would have loved to as Bill was extremely hospitable! Would highly recommend coming here for advice, gear rentals and accommodation, we certainly will when we come back...

Bill runs the place with his family and is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable about the area, the hikes and treks in Torres Del Paine, restaurants, shops, rentals, and anything else you may need to know. He’s also just about the friendliest guy you’ll ever meet; an absolute pleasure. The hostel is very comfortable and feels like you’re staying in someone’s home. The rooms are quiet and nice, showers are hot, and the vibe is chill. I was able to do laundry, store bags, and I even saw spots for camping in the back. Can’t recommend Erratic...
