Hostal El Establo — Hotel in Puerto Natales

I was scammed by this property. Stay away!!!

I was advised with the hostel’s official whatsapp message at midnight before my arrival date that the property was in repair and they ‘upgraded’ me to their sister accommodation. The sister accommodation was well outside the town centre and in the middle of nowhere, therefore, I did not accept the relocation. The property accepted my cancellation request and advised me with their whatsapp message that they would not charge me for the cancellation. However, they charged my credit card after 17 days and have not replied to any of my messages or emails.

I now started official dispute through my credit card company and reported the incident to the police.

Our stay was so good I want to keep it a secret so I don’t have to worry about El Establo being booked up next time I want to stay but that wouldn’t be fair as it is too good a place not to cheer about.||What makes it great ?
