I stayed here for 2 nights on my Exodus trip around Chile.||||I shared a triple room with my Dad, which was ideal for us. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, ensuring we both slept very well each night. The room was lovely and warm too, very cosy and comfortable after a cold day exploring outside.||||The large bathroom had a powerful shower, which stayed hot throughout our stay.||||The free wifi could not be easily accessed from our room but could be in all public places of the hostal.||||The breakfast was the best we had in our trip of Chile - plenty of choice with lots of fresh fruit and great coffee. The tap water can be drunk and so we refilled our bottles from the bathroom tap.||||The hotel is in an ideal location for exploring the town. We were blessed with perfect weather during our stay in Patagonia and the view from outside the hostal is amazing - the lake and mountains can be seen clearly.||||I would stay here again if I find myself back in Puerto Natales as the location is ideal and the rooms very...

Read moreHostal Francis Drake was wonderful! We stayed on two separate nights -- Dec. 3 and Dec. 7 -- before and after we visited Torres del Paine. It was a school trip, so we had 3 adults and 13 high school students. The staff, especially Carolina, did a tremendous job handling our group, answering questions, adjusting their breakfast schedule to suit our needs (5am!), and generally making accommodations to make our trip easier. They were able to store some luggage in between our stays, helped us with parking our rental cars while we were gone, and made excellent recommendations for food.
