W Circuit - Trekking in Patagonia — Local services in Puerto Natales

We booked two tours with W Circuit and both were amazing! The Towers Base Hike followed by the Full Day Torres del Paine bus tour during the winter season (May).

The Towers hike was an incredible experience, helped by some amazing weather! We were picked up promptly from our accommodation by the mini-bus (confirmed the night before on WhatsApp). The guides (Pancho, Felipe & Anisette) were so friendly and fun, they all spoke great English and were so interesting to chat to on the hike. We felt very safe in their competent leadership on the mountain, as well as being provided with suitable hiking poles and ice crampons for our boots. They were happy to cater for different hiking speeds within our group and were keen to make sure that everyone had the chance to get to the towers. They kept us on schedule to reach the viewpoint and get back within daylight, whilst also allowing plenty of rest and snack stops. The views throughout the hike were amazing, but nothing compared to the Towers themselves 😍

We had quickly arranged to join them on the Full Day Torres del Paine tour the next day, which was equally impressive. A nice rest for our legs, this bus tour also picked us up from our hotel and took us around all parts of the Torres del Paine National Park, with our guide Nicholas giving us a commentary on the wildlife, geology and history of the park. During the trip we saw a host of wildlife (including Rheas, Guanacos, Condors - sadly no Pumas!) as well as glaciers and waterfalls. This was topped off with a trip to the Mylodon's Cave, which was equally interesting. Our driver for both days, Roberto, was very good and we felt completely at ease on the tours throughout.

We enjoyed both tours and would not hesitate to use W Circuit again if we ever return to Patagonia. We also really enjoyed meeting fellow travellers during the tours and making friends from all over the world.

I did the Base Torres trek through W Circuit. I had originally been thinking of doing it on my own with a bus and shuttle to get from Puerto Natales to the start of the trek and back. I'm so glad I didn't and opted to use these guys instead. I had a fantastic experience and it made the day go so smoothly and stress free. I was picked up on time with the guide Pablo communicating with me via WhatsApp. Both guides Pablo and Alex were fantastic, easy going and spoke great English. There were 11 of us on the hike with a guide at the front and rear. They set a very comfortable pace and never put pressure on people to go faster (especially on some of the steep descents). They communicated very clearly about the sections of the hike and what we could expect. There were several short stops on the way up and down to regroup and refuel. We had just over an hour at the top to take in the stunning views and enjoy lunch. It was great having other people in the group to talk to and take your mind off some of the aches and pains. I can't recommend these guys highly enough and the whole day was a huge highlight for me. The driver was very safe and we got back around the estimated time. Chile and Patagonia were a bucketlist trip for me. I have dreamt of trekking Patagonia for years and this year was the year to finally make this dream come true. I am so grateful to have booked this trip with W Circuit Patagonia. Their guides were knowledgeable, experienced mountaineers, hikers, trekkers, and passionately cared about the land and knew every rock in Torres del Paine.

My friend and I signed up to do the Base Torres Trek which was a brutal 25km trek. Our tour guides, Max and Francisco, were very pleasant, relaxed, experienced and kept us safe the entire ascent and descent (which took our group 10hrs!). I wouldn't have done this with any other guide. Thank you for such a memorable and once in a lifetime trek!

The next day, after the Base Torres trek bruised and battered our bodies, we did a light hiking tour with Nikko. He showed us all the beautiful lookout points in Torres del Paine, took the time to share his knowledge of the history of the region, the ecosystem and the wildlife. The last hike to Mirador Condor was the most memorable experience because of the views and 60mph winds! Nikko being the supreme guide and expert, lead us all safely up and back...
