Before we could even enter, an employee started closing the door in my husband’s face saying they were full. My husband politely asked how long the wait was and the man said an hour, and shut the door. This was at 3:00 pm - a really random and long turn over time for a table at that time of day and with no line. As we stood outside deciding on alternate plans, another couple who didn’t seem like tourists, arrived and they were not turned away. They didn’t seem to have a prior arrangement as their body language suggested that they were curious to seating availability also. Then they brought out a bread starter with some magical dip/spread that I don’t even know what I was eating but it didn’t matter because it was amazing. THEN FOR THE MEAL… if you don’t order the pobre artemana you’re doing yourself a disservice. It’s incredible. Yes some people have said that the service was slow but that’s besides the point… it’s slow because the food is GOOD and FRESH and REAL. I rather my food be slow and delicious and worth it then rushed and a...
